Finally emerging from the shadows to say how inspiring I find your diary, and above all congratulations! Could there possibly be a silver lining to this current injury in Mr SA realising that he can do more than he thinks which could give you some much-needed, richly deserved me- time?!

You are so right to do whatever is needed to keep the show on the road because at the moment, if you burn out then Mr SA is doomed! Could the children help by pointing out to him how much you do, if not take over for a couple of sessions per week?

Sending fond admiration and respect from afar and festive greetings. Hope you are soon back to dancing the can-can.

Aw thank you Humdinger, brought a tear to my eye :) Don't worry I'll be back on my feet as soon as possible.

Very slowly and with some help from Mr SA I've done as much cleaning as I can manage. Just need to steam mop the floors then it's done. I've found if I do a bit then rest for a while I can get a fair bit done. Annoying that everything takes so long even with Mr SA's help. It's taken most of the day to get what I wanted to done.

Got a couple of jobs lined up for DS when he comes tomorrow unknown to him :)

Mr SA has lost one of his new gloves so most of the day has revolved around that.

All the recycling is out ready to be picked up tomorrow morning :)

Part of me wonders if it's thanks to my healthy eating and exercise I'm not as badly injured as I could've been and the other part wonders if I'd had a bit more padding I wouldn't be so battered and bruised. One of my friends said she couldn't make her mind up whether I've been unlucky or lucky.

Hoping my Mr M delivery tomorrow won't be missing anything, it's coming first thing before I go to hospital. Fingers crossed I'll be coming back home and then they leave me be until it's time to remove the cast rather than keep me in to operate.

  • Glad to see you all prepared for Christmas.

Are you sure the recycling is being collected? I only ask as where we are the recycling went out two days early this week. We got a shock when the truck pulled up. We quickly dragged it out.

Our collection day is usually Wednesday hence a day early. Next week it's a day later than normal.

Getting apprehensive about tomorrow - not sure which about most the hospital or the Mr M delivery :rotfl: Not looking forward to either.

Hope all is well tomorrow with Mr M delivery and the hospital give the outcome you want.
Hope you still manage to make the most of Christmas - you usually make things the best you can. Will you have to cook Christmas diner or will dd do it for you this year? Merry Christmas to you - hope Santa brings you lots of gin :xmassmile
