    Morning :)

Slept well last night after all the food and drinks :) Did me good to get out. The restaurant was lovely right opposite the castle in the tourist area.

Nowhere to go today, going to make some mince pies cheating using ready rolled pastry, make a start on wrapping presents, clean downstairs and tidy up again. It's finally stopped raining so Mr SA is taking the dog out.

Not sure whether to take my wheelchair or frame to the panto tomorrow. If the taxi can drop us off in front of the theatre I'll be fine with just the frame.

Milann - hospital is on Tuesday, not where I was originally planning to spend Christmas Eve.

We used to always go to Lanzarote the first Thursday in January when Mr SA was working. Thank goodness we're not going until end of April.

Well the mince pies were a disaster. My oven is rubbish, one minute they were nowhere near ready the next they were starting to burn. I've managed to salvage a few though and there's only me eats them. Just had one with a coffee and it was gorgeous, the mincemeat is brandy and port and really has a kick to it. I shouldn't really be eating extras anyway with doing no exercise.

Trying to motivate Mr SA into helping with the tidying up.

I expect the alcohol made them more liable to burn - but scraping the burnt bits off reduces the calories so it's really a positive! :D

Sent Mr SA out for curling ribbon, he came back with some very expensive luxury ribbon which just isn't what I wanted. At the mercy of Mr M online shopping where everything I want is out of stock and Mr SA

He's gone back out again for the ribbon, told him I'd text DD to pick some up from work but he's adamant he can do it.

    Pass the gin.
