Eventually got the curling ribbon. Quite a few presents wrapped now, kept getting dive bombed by the cat so have called it a day. The rustle of the paper and the ribbon are too much for her and she’s having a mad half hour
Thank goodness I got the fab quality paper in the M&S sale last year - only paid 75p a roll but it would still be worth the £3.50 it should have been, top quality

I can't believe how well you are managing to stay on top of things under the circumstances SA! (i.e. Mr SA!) I would have booked myself into a Premier Inn by now and stayed there till after Christmas!

Morning
Up early today as I slept through most of Saturday night, such a party animal :rotfl:
It's lovely and peaceful, the dog and cat have been out, been fed and gone back to bed. Mr SA is fast off. I've got my feet up with a coffee and the radio - bliss
Panto time today, going to take the frame not wheelchair. We'll have an early lunch before we go, then leave in plenty of time to have a drink in the theatre bar first. Looking forward to it
Hope everyone has a great dayI get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -
Evening folks
The panto was good, I will admit not as good as the one we went to 3 years ago but still good. Leg was aching a bit from being down rather than up, was tempted to rest it on the seat in front.
Had a fair way to walk (hobble) to the taxi rank but I did it. I'm keeping my fingers crossed I haven't moved the bone as it's been a bit soreIt is what it is though and if I have to have an op then so be it.
Tomorrow will be a quiet day thankfully, not looking forward to Christmss Eve to be honest.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -
Glad you enjoyed the panto

Morning
Thankfully nowhere to go today. Going to clean up as best I can ready for tomorrow. Presents are all wrapped and driving the cat mad. Need to send Mr SA to the cashpoint to draw out yet more taxi fares for tomorrow.
Hoping to have a relaxing day. One good thing about being out of action is at least I'm not getting caught up in last minute panic buying.
Have a good days folksI get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0
