Mr SA's blood pressure results were fine although slightly high. He also got his health check results back and despite the fact his BMI is 34, he eats too many chips, drinks too much beer and does no exercise his liver is fine and his sugar and chloresterol levels are low. Thankfully no extra meds or tests.

Smile for the day - I asked him to bring me my red water bottle from the fridge and he's brought me back a glass of red wine. It's 10am :rotfl:

Sent Mr SA to the shops for toilet rolls, a paper, face cream and lypsyls (for him not me) and clear no more nails. He got the toilet rolls and paper right. Don't ask about the rest. I wouldn't mind but I gave him a written list he could show to shop staff

The no more nails was to put up a toothbrush holder in the bathroom. As he brought the wrong thing back he has now decided to drill holes in the wall, not looking forward to this

Finances done, nothing too onerous, paid off CC. New savings for VSP 2020 have begun £12.48 so far. New 4 week budget has started. Doubt whether there'll be anything going in the emergency fund until end January with all the extra costs - it is what it is, can't be helped.

Trying to do a meal plan to last until Boxing Day. Mr SA doing my head in keep asking what's for dinner tonight  I was going to send him to Lidl or Aldi to get the cheap veg but after today's fiasco am having second thoughts. He's keen to go as he's thinking about the beer they sell that he likes :rotfl:

Going to attempt a bath tonight now the waterproof cast cover has arrived, think I'll be ok. So looking forward to it - face pack, magazine, candles, radio and glass of wine - bliss - simple pleasures often taken for granted :D

Neck has more or less stopped hurting, bruising is less painful (been rubbing arnica gel in), leg hardly hurts I wouldn't believe it was broken if I hadn't seen the x-ray.

Changed the bedding. Trying to get as much as I can done before the full cast goes on. Mr SA has just shuffled dog poo all through the house aargh

Bath was fabulous :j Feel nice and clean now. Was feeling relaxed until a few seconds ago when Mr SA shuffled in, saw me relaxing on the sofa and said the immortal words what's for dinner  Just don't let me near any hammers.

I think between all the Mr M deliveries coming I've got all food bases covered. Thank goodness I'd already bought all the presents.

The drilling is on hold until tomorrow.
