    Ugh :(

Hospital today. Got to go back on Christmas Eve for another X-Ray. If the bone's moved I'll need an op. If it hasn't moved I'll be getting a lovely full leg cast. Not sure which is the worst option to be honest. A full leg cast

Getting plastered on Christmas Eve literally. Happy Christmas to me :(

Been signed off work 6 weeks, although as I can work from home I'll reassess this after Christmas. On the plus side if I go on sick now I'll get back the leave I booked for next week.

The Chris Evans Breakfast Show rang me this morning and I've been put through to get a mention on the Christmas Day show. He couldn't believe I was listening to the show when I got hit by a car on Friday 13th.

I've had some lovely flowers from one of my friends today :)

Hope everyone is having a much better day than me :)

So sorry to hear of your accident SA.
Sending very gentle but big hugs for a speedy recovery.
If Mr SA steps out of line whilst your recovering, gimme a nod and I'll send the lads roon to sort 'im oot ;)

It is important that we know where we come from, because if you do not know where you come from, then you do not know where you are, and if you don't know where you are, then you don't know where you are going. If you don't know where you're going, you're probably going wrong.

  • Oh dear an operation or a full leg cast don't sound like good choices, especially on Christmas eve :(. Lovely to get more flowers though and exciting to be mentioned on the radio show :).

I hope you''re not doing too much.

I know HH talk about between the devil and the deep blue sea as my mum used to say.

SIL is coming tomorrow, she usually sorts Mr SA out.

New budget period starts today but not even looked at it yet, a tad distracted at the moment.

I'm still going to my work Xmas meal on Friday, my manager is coming to pick me up which will save on taxi fares. I think it will do me good to get out. Then on Sunday we're at the panto.

The midi skirt from M&S did the trick today and it's something I'd wear for work afterwards so not wasted my money. I've had to order a waterproof cast cover today so I can have a bath/shower so another £17 :(

Beanie - Mr SA held up the plastic bag my M&S order came in and said why couldn't I use that :rotfl:

I still don't know why I've got to have a full leg cast if the bone I've broken is non weight bearing. I'm going to mention I'm a carer and don't have help. I just don't see how I'm going to manage, it will be so cumbersome :(

I was so fed up tonight I poured myself a G&T and forgot to put gin in it :rotfl:

  • Oh lord SA! I hope they sort you out! Christmas Eve as well!

You'll have to get everyone to fuss you on Christmas Day while you listen to your good wishes on the radio from Chris Evans!:)

Enjoy your Xmas meal on Friday - as you say it will do you good to get out.
