Just caught up with the news.
You poor thing, that's awful. So glad to hear that it's 'only' a broken leg, cuts and bruises but I know how painful that is anyway. I don't think you have any choice but to take it easy so just go with it and enjoy it, lots of books and films and rest is the best medicine for you.

Tuna the driver took me to hospital in her car and offered to stay with me it wasn’t a hit and run. I didn’t lose consciousness. She was really shook up and I think we were both too shocked to exchange details. I just wanted to get checked over and go home.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0

Evening all.
Have had a relaxing day today. Have washed my hair and got all the tangles out. It was really knotted, a disadvantage of having fine hair but a lot of it as hairdressers always say to me. Amazingly I've not had to take any painkillers. Managing to walk a bit on my broken leg, it just feels a bit sore, no pain, the other leg where I broke my ankle is a different story, shooting pains that make me cry out. Will mention this tomorrow although the X Ray was fine.
Mr SA is coming with me tomorrow to "help". I think he's more interested in the possibility of there being a coffee in it. He knows the hospital has a Costa. Fingers crossed I won't need an op and can have a walking boot.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -
Fingers crossed for tomorrow SA - yes do mention your bad ankle. Glad to hear your leg isn't as painful though.
