Hope you had a restful evening, you deserve itAs a dear MSE friend says “keep plodding” or

I can't remember most of last night as I fell asleep quite early - exhausted.
Today has been very hectic - Insanity, followed by visit to local park Christmas event, then lunch in Spoons, shopping in Aldi, back home to take dog on park across the road and cleaned the whole house. Wanted to write Christmas cards but have lost the plot now.
Mr SA is wearing his Star Wars tshirt with the Christmas PJ bottoms again so he obviously thinks this is a good look :rotfl:
Last proper week at work next week, working from home on Thursday. Wish I could work from home tomorrow but I need to be in work for a meeting.
Got the dog a new coat from Aldi plus a Christmas stocking, so just need to get something for the cat and a large mug for DD then that's the presents done.
Will be an early night tonight ready for the week ahead.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -
Mr SA might be a trendsetter - you never know....
Your day with the gks sounds like hard work I’m not surprised you were shattered.January spends - £587.580 -
That's the best part of the week done
This week has passed in a blur. Worked from home today, took the cat to the vets for a check up - she's got to lose a kilo, went to vote and had my eyebrows waxed and tinted (I now have eyebrows again, happy days).
Unbelievably got another £100 bonus at work for an event I put together last month :j I don't expect anything for the extra work I put into these things because it's what I enjoy doing but I'm very grateful to be appreciatedThey're a bit tied with what they can do but there is a budget to reward those who go above what's expected.
Glad I didn't book on a class tonight as the weather has been dire. Didn't want to turn up to another cancelled class.
Clinging on to the last few days of my budget, gone a bit over but nothing to worry about.
Hoping to finish work early tomorrow, then just 3 full days at work, 1 work from home day and Friday half a day. Then that's me done until 2 January :jI get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -
