Can still remember you posting about the accident, can't believe it was 3 years ago. Do you have any long term issues with the ankle or is it back to normal.

Can't believe it's the weekend again and the last day of November!

Thank goodness this week is done. I'm shattered.

Enjoyed a spot of shopping in Birmingham, didn't buy much to be honest. Train going back was a nightmare, absolutely packed. Awful news about London yesterday :( I do feel a bit nervous when I go there, I know it could happen anywhere though.

Thursday AM I was back at work then popped into a retirement do for an hour in the afternoon.

Friday I was off work, did some Xmas shopping in the Black Friday sales and met some retired friends for lunch. Enjoyed my day. We can buy Debs vouchers at a discount through a work thing so bought £100 worth for £88 and got Mr SA's aftershave and some perfume for him to wrap up for me. The handbags were half price, so with a 10% cardholder discount plus £20 of vouchers from work which I got a few weeks ago for helping with an event, it meant the bag cost me less than a fiver :money:

Also got Mr SA some socks, PJs and some joggers from Primani, the joggers were only £5 when I got to the till and he absolutely loves them.

Payday yesterday, last one until 31 December  Got nearly all my Christmas presents bought now though, just got to get a large mug for DD, a waterproof coat for the dog and a Christmas stocking for the cat.

Didn't bother with WW today, I wanted to get on with cleaning the house as it's been neglected this week with all the gadding about. Just went to the local shops, took 4 books to the CS and came out with 3 :rotfl:

Planning to put up the tree and decorations tomorrow. Also need to give the bathroom a lick of paint, shouldn't take more than an hour as it's mainly tiled.

Final count up of VSP and the grand total is £603.65 which is £3.65 over target :j It will be "opened" tomorrow although most of it is owed to the CC as the Christmas presents etc have been paid for on it. Bought some of the cava that's on offer at £3.29 a bottle in Lidl yesterday. I bought some last year and it was lovely and just as nice this year - we had to open a bottle last night to check it wasn't off ;) anyway can highly recommend. You couldn't even get a glass of it in a pub for £3.29, bargain :money:

Need to do some serious catching up with diaries....

Forgot to day OMG the fog where we live today  We live at the top of a hill and it's very high up so our road was clear but the surrounding lower area was blanketed in fog which looked very spooky. I took the dog on the park across the road which is down a hill and you could hardly see a thing.

  • Your shopping bargains sound good, especially the handbag :).

I haven't even made my Christmas present list yet although I've bought two Christmas presents, so you're putting me to shame but I did put up the Christmas lights today :).

  • I like the sound of the Cava and will have to make a trip to Lidls tomorrow. Well done on the Xmas shopping, Black Friday bargains and the sealed pot. You sound very organised.
