Thanks for all your kind messages, much appreciated
Been AWOL all week, too many things to do in too little time.
The carers assessment was today, I got the day wrong. Thankfully Mr SA decided to take himself out for a coffee so I was able to speak freely. Nothing they can do really other than offer respite care up to the value of £650. He won't have any form of care other than from me, he's too stubborn. I'll get the carers payment of £150, which is great but doesn't help with the daily stress. It is what it is.
I've been awarded £100 bonus from work for the London trips and going the extra mile in what was a very difficult meeting :j Of course I'll have to pay tax/NI but still nice to be appreciated. Will get it in my wages at the end of this month.
Not told Mr SA about any of the above or he'll hassle me to death to spend it. Keeping it to one side as a fund for secret shopping trips, days out with friends etc.
I've been working from home again today, can't believe I'll be breaking up for Xmas 2 weeks tomorrow! I'm off until 2 January so will be a nice break for me unless Mr SA drives me nuts.
Off to Kettlefit later, hopefully won't be the only one there again.
Looking after the GKs on Saturday while DS and his OH go shopping
Then Mr SA wants to go to a Christmas fair on Sunday.
No rest for the wicked.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -
I was the only one who turned up for Kettlefit so it was cancelled
Might have to try something else next week. It's a shame as I enjoyed it. I would be very annoyed if I was paying for the membership.

Is Mr S giving a nod to his favouthings:rotfl: beauty is in the eye of the beholder and all that....it makes him happy....just try not to let him out like that.:p
There’s nothing you can do if Mr SA won’t accept care....would he accept your offspring taking him out....caring in disguise and maybe claiming some of the allowance for them ‘to care’ without him knowing about it IYKWIM. Just trying to think of ways to get you a bit of a break.....January spends - £587.580 -
And breathe ...
Looked after the GKs today while mum and dad went Christmas shopping  GD is fine but GS
Fortunately DD chipped in and entertained them, although she kept returning them to us when she'd had enough :rotfl:
Even the dog is exhausted.
Apart from that, not a lot else going off really which isn't a bad thing.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -

You deserve a medal SA and so does DD. I bet DS was very grateful. I hope you get a rest (and gin) tonight.
