    That's Wednesday done :)

Went to the retirement do and met my friend beforehand for lunch. I just got ready and went, said to Mr SA see you later. He just carried on spray painting the fence. Realise I just need to say I'm doing something and do it, not negotiable. He actually made a good job of the fence, he just sat on a chair spraying it, job done. It looks good :) Tomorrow will be all about painting the garden furniture.

It was unbelievably hot in the city centre today, far too hot to be there but glad I met my friend and glad I popped into the retirement do. Chatting to a number of my former colleagues who are retired now and loving it. I love where I work, it's a great place although it's the people that make it great really :)

OMG the electric storm here at 2.30am  Been years since I've experienced such a loud storm and as for the rain  My dog was shaking I had to cuddle her.

Hoping for a better nights sleep tonight.

Friendships are important RL and VL - pleased you had a lovely time

Agree with Beanie - tell him and do it, then he doesn’t have time to try and process it and get agitated.

Hope you had a better nights sleep

    That’s Thursday done :)

OMG how hot has it been today

Painted all the garden furniture, made a start on a few other bits but it was so hot I had to stop. Spent the afternoon on a sun lounger with my book and a glass of rose :)

No other jobs done, too hot.

HI SA - I was so pleased to read that you made your stand - just told Mr SA what you were doing and went! As you say this may the best way to handle him going forward whenever you want to go out on your own.

    Have a good weekend!

    Happy Friday :j

This week has flown by. Today I took the winter duvet to the launderette, didn’t come up that clean initially but after a few hours in the sun on the washing line it’s now almost as good as new :)

Have cleaned the whole house to save me doing it tomorrow :)

Keep me out of charity shops as have bought 2 more books today. I’m getting through one a week at the moment though. I do love my books :)
