Bloody hell SA!
One day! all that happened in one day!
No wonder you were in the garden drinking gin!Nevertheless she persisted.0 -
That's Tuesday done
Dog to vets this morning, wasn't as bad as I feared, she behaved. She's got to lose 1 kilo though and regain her waist, haven't we all LOL. She doesn't eat much to be honest so wonder if Mr SA and DD are giving her treats I don't know about. Anyway 17,000 steps done before lunch as vets is 4 miles away and had to walk as not on bus route.
It's super hot here, guess it is for everyone. Couldn't have picked a better week to take off work
No further forward today on the wood painting front but gave the bathroom a deep clean this morning, been following the Fly Lady thread this week. Trying to get everything done before it gets too hot. To be honest I was sat out in the garden at 7am and it was hot then.
Mr SA kicking off because I'm going to the retirement do tomorrow afternoon. My work friend wants to meet up for a drink beforehand, not told him that bit. I've been firm and told him I want to go to this do, it's someone I've worked with for 19 years.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -
Glad that you are going to the retirement do.

I've got to put my foot down Beanie. Reminded him that when I retire I want to be able to go out and meet my friends without him tagging along or being made to feel guilty.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0

Yes, you are right to make a stand now.
As you say you want to be able to do things on your own without being made to feel bad about going out. xxI am a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Mortgage Free Wannabe & Local Money Saving Scotland & Disability Money Matters. Work friend wants to meet me for a drink tomorrow before the retirement do. Have said yes it will be good to see her and already I need a break from Mr SA. I need to keep seeing my friends, they keep me sane. I don't care what he says.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0

Gin in the garden with nightie on:beer::beer: good on you - that’s what holidays are all about :T
You really NEED to meet your friends - if Mr SA doesn’t like it - tough  like you say when you retire you’ll need to see other people or you’ll be totally isolated....better he gets used to it....in fact I’d be tempted to meet friends more regularly so he gets used to it.January spends - £587.580
