And it's Friday :j :j
I think I've mentioned before, Mr SA has a watch with the alarm set to 7.30 so if there's no sign of dinner when it goes off he shuffles into the kitchen to investigate. Might have to 'mislay' it
Worked at home today, got done what I needed to, sorted out a couple of mini crises in the absence of the directors, think I've earned my crust today
Finished work at 3.30, home at 3.30. Not done much for the step count though but it's only once a week.
Did a freezer inventory, the plan is to live out of its contents as much as I can next week and buy as little as possible. Old cc about to expire so have updated main online places I use it - PayPal, iTunes and Mr M. Will do the others as and when - what a pain!
I think it's finally stopped raining. Loads of flooding our way, just dire

Definitely mislay Mr SA's watch .
You're definitely earning your pay, in fact a pay rise should be in order

Happy Saturday folks

Weather been better today, quite warm, still some rain though, getting fed up of everywhere being soaked, come on summer show your face.
WW this morning lost half a pound, pleased with that as I've not been completely on plan recently. Still 2lbs under goal.
Cleaned the whole house today and made a good start on decluttering - Mr SA's wardrobe and a couple of drawers in the bedroom, will continue tomorrow.
Smile for today - asked Mr SA to make a start on stripping the wallpaper in the spare bedroom, apparently he's too busy at the minute - doing what!!I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -
He's too busy watching tv and waiting for his dinner .
Well done on the de-cluttering, cleaning and weight loss :T.Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally

Morning folks, happy Sunday

Been up since the crack of dawn. Have been quite productive, put a colour on my hair and opened an ISA with the Coventry BS. I bank with the Halifax and my ISA is about to mature and the highest rate they're offering is 0.20% so I've transferred it to Coventry BS at a rate of 1.5% which is a lot better. :money: However, on payday I'm opening a Regular Saver with the Halifax which is paying 2%. I'm going to put in the highest amount I can into this which is £250 a month. Anything else I can save will go into the ISA.
Savings will be broken down into:
£250 to the Regular Saver
£25 for birthday presents fund
£? into house fund (still need to do a fair bit to the house, big things that I'll need to save for)
Possibly start overpaying the mortgage - I think I can overpay by £1500 a year but will check.
The VSP is separate and is my Christmas fund.
I need to commit to something as since I paid off the debt the amount left over for savings seems to be dwindling on bits and bobs, I need to be strict with myself. On paper I should be able to save £500 a month at least. However, in reality …..
Off to Lidl in a bit with the £5 off £20 spend voucher from the paper

All sounding good, I shall check out the Halifax account

I bet you come back with week's worth of food for that 20 quid!
xxNevertheless she persisted.0
