It sounds as though you had a lovely time although it’s not what you had planned.
Mr S must drive you to distraction behaving as he does when you do something for yourself.
Your bird sanctuary sounds lovely - hope they don’t wake you up with a dawn sing song though:eek:January spends - £587.580 -
Hope you're having a nice weekend. Glad you got some time to yourself xxx0

First of all happy June

Busy weekend yesterday gardening and sunbathing
Went to WW have put 1lb on but still under goal weight so not a problem, blaming it on that huge pizza I had on Friday LOL.
Today the weather hasn't been the best, more showers than sun
Cleaned the whole house, went to Lidl for some compost and bits and bobs for the week ahead, meal plan done, soup made for work lunches.
Working from home tomorrow
Taking the cat to vets for her booster at 9am. Brilliant that we can work from home to fit in appointments :j
New budget starts tomorrow, must stick to it, challenge to self.
Some bad news tonight - one of my friends has had a heart attack on holiday
She's never smoked, barely drinks, exercises loads, isn't overweight but has always had problems with high blood pressure. Thankfully she's going to be fine. Which reminds me my other friend who had the nasty fall on holiday back in February is out of hospital and back at home now, will be a long recovery but she's doing well. Sounds like youve had a productive day SA.
Sorry to hear about your friend, glad she's going to be ok xxMummytogirls x0 -
That's Monday done

Today has whizzed by. Took the cat for her booster, got some more cream for her allergy £26.15  On the plus side, as I couldn't get a taxi to get me there on time, we ended up having to take her on Mr SA's scooter. Took the dog with us too so saved on taxi fares, the dog got a good walk and I got a good walk
Enjoyed my day working at home, it whizzed past and I love having the radio on all day. It's pretty full on for the rest of the week though with meetings so won't get a chance to work at home again until next Friday.
New budget started today, really need to keep on track this month.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -
And here we are back at Friday

Totally manic week work-wise. I'm helping out with yet another event next week so have been busy with that plus my normal "day job".
Went for a drink after work today with some of my old team which was lovely, although I had to leave early because of Mr SA. He was panicking about what time he'd get his evening meal. You'll be pleased to hear he got it just 5 minutes later than normal. I hate how tied I am, I thought I left all this behind with the kids, little did I know they would be replaced with a giant kid
Tomorrow we're going to DS's house, rail tickets have been purchased and we'll have to get a taxi to and from the station. It's only fair we go to theirs now and again and it will be good to see DGS's birthday presents.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -
Enjoy the day at your DS's..and glad you're taking the train

Enjoy the day with ds and gc. Is it a long train journey?
I hope the weather near you is better than here or you’ll get very wet en route.
I’m guessing Mr SA wouldn’t accept a ping and ding meal on occasions to give you a little more flexibility. A home made one would be the same as he usually eats but he’d have to ping it himself.January spends - £587.580 -
