Thanks all
Cumbria the next holiday is April, no more booked after that as yet. Need to stick to budgets. Mr SA is pressing for me to book a summer holiday but for now I need to concentrate on paying for the upcoming one. And this year there will be no extra cash as with the past two years - last year I had the pension closure payout, the year before there was some left over from the remortgage. I need to stay focused and only spend what I can afford. Honestly I don't know where he thinks the money comes from!
Went to Aldi this morning, killed four birds with one stone: walked the dog, got Mr SA out of the house, got me 8000 steps in and got some cheap groceries in, even jogged some of the way back with the dogMr SA looked a bu$$er on his scooter from behind with his ski goggles strapped around his hoodie - looked like an Arab gone wrong :rotfl:
Have started prepping food wise for the week ahead. Making butternut squash, chickpea and lime soup for work lunches, chopped up the Aldi pineapple and kiwi fruits for breakfasts (will be added to fat free natural yoghurt), roasted some butternut squash for tonight's dinner of spiced butternut squash stew with cheese dumplings, making two portions and will have the rest for tomorrow's dinner.
Meal plan for the week ahead all sorted
No more spends today, so have emptied out the change from my purse into my holiday spending pot and another £10 has been paid off the debt.
So at the end of this week have the debt stands at £1570 and £20.29 has been paid into VSP making the grand total £76.27

Sounds blooming brilliant SA - seriously good. Boo to aplocamces going wrong tho. Have to say it’s why I went with Miele for the DW and WM..but lord were they expensive.
The money splits sounds similar to Barefoot which we are following. That’s 60/20/20. Working at the moment for us anyway.

That's Monday done
Full week at work this week
NSD, AFD, done 21,000 steps and went for a run in the work gym this lunchtime
Mr SA did something very stupid this afternoon - he tried to walk to the end of our road with the dog to meet me. Fortunately he made it back ok, shuffling extremely slowly and he had to keep stopping. Told him off, if he'd had a fall anything could've happened. So dangerous! Plus he had slipper socks on :eek:I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -

I’m guessing he’s lost the ability to think through the ‘what might happen’ if indeed he ever had them....you must be on pins most of the time wondering what he’s up to SA. You’re amazing:A
