That's Monday done
Didn't get off to a great start today, woke up to no heating or hot water. Had to boil a kettle and wash with a flannel. My hair is a mass of frizz in the morning and I have to wash it every day to tame it, I managed to sort it out with a brush run under the tap but it was very bushy and tangled. Luckily the plumber who installed came out and fixed it this morning.
Went for a run in the work gym at lunchtime. It was good to have a hot shower afterwards.
By amazing coincidence after the talk of Men in Sheds, a local FB group put an ad on their newsfeed for a new Men in Sheds just opened very close to where we live and no age constrictions. Showed Mr SA the ad and he's fairly interested but concerned that no one can understand his slurred speech. I'm going to ring the organisers just to see what's what and maybe get him to try at least one session.
Mr SA had a bad fall today when he took the dog on the park and got off his scooter to get something out of the back pocket. He's hurt his ankle and his shoulder.
I haven't looked at Meet Ups yet, I think someone at work who's recently divorced uses them or something similar, she meets up with big groups of people for meals out. I still think Mr SA will go if I book the tickets and he'll enjoy it despite what he says.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -

Would he accept a surprise visit to see Benedorm or would the surprise and no warning completely throw him? Would your daughter go to a show with you - I’m guessing not or you’d have already sorted it....January spends - £587.580 -

I'm keeping my fingers and toes crossed that Mr SA gets involved with the Men in Sheds. It could make such a difference to his outlook on life if that works for him.... and some pressure off you, which would be wonderful. XXI Believe.....

I really hope the Men in Sheds works out. I am sure people will be more tolerant of his speech than he thinks.
Hope you are having a good week xx0
