He’s not as bad as he’s making out, well not at the moment anyway. He took the dog out this afternoon so he can’t have been that bad.
I took the dog on the park this morning. It felt good to be outside in the fresh air even though it was freezing. The paths were very slippery with the frost so I had to be careful. After that I went to Mr T, it was so busy. I felt quite faint in there as it was so hot and my legs felt quite weak after not using them much for almost a week.I gave the kitchen a good clean this afternoon then got everything out of the fridge and wiped it all out.I feel a lot better tonight, I just feel like I’ve got the tail end of a cold.I’m not opening the Prosecco tonight with Strictly not being on, saving it for tomorrow. It will cheer up Sunday night anyway.Mr SA is being so grumpy about the football and said if France win I’m never to give him French food again. I told him as far as I’m aware I don’t give him French food 🤔 He said baguettes 🥖🤣🤣I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5 -

He did mention he doesn’t want any more French fries just thick chips 🤣🤣 Aren’t blokes daft when it comes to football. I’ve overheard some verging on nasty exchanges about various premier league teams at work.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2

Happy Sunday.
Have been up for a while drinking coffee and reading on the dining room sofa. The dog is curled up at the side of me snoring under a throw. Not planning on going any further than the park over the road with the dog today. It will be NSD 5.On my to do list today is giving the bathroom a good clean once DD has gone to work. I’m also going to do a meal plan for the rest of the month based on cupboard/freezer stocks and make a list of what we need for Christmas Eve/Day/Boxing Day. DS and the GKs are coming for the usual Christmas Eve buffet but it’s just us the rest of the time. We haven’t been invited anywhere for over 20 years.I need to finish off the Christmas decorations although I have still to buy a wreath. I booked myself a treat when I’m off on Tuesday, I’m having my nails done. I was hoping DIL would do them but I won’t see her until Christmas Eve. I do wish they lived closer.I only have DD’s Christmas present left to get. She never wants anything in particular, she’s really difficult to buy for and isn’t a big toiletries fan she just uses whatever I put in the bathroom. I usually end up getting her PJs, socks and wine.
If I can get all my jobs done I’ll choose another Christmas film to watch this afternoon 🎄I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4 -
Oh dear. No more French food for Mr SA now 🤣🤣🤣
I quite enjoy a quiet Christmas at home just the three of us. We do what we want when we want and don't have to pander to anyone 😀3
