That's Wednesday done. Nearly said Thursday as I keep thinking it's Thursday! Probably because I've been in the office today.
It was a lot busier in the office than I was expecting. I thought a lot of people would be WFH because of the rail strikes. Obviously Wednesday is a popular day to go in.
NSD 11/12 today. I've decided not to have a set target from August onwards. August I will be on holiday for a good part of and I prefer my focus to be on sticking to a budget and saving as much as I can. I'll still count the NSDs but let them happen naturally. I don't want to be stressing out if we need a loaf of bread and it's a planned NSD!
£5.20 sent to the Christmas pot, now holds £384.99. Hoping to get this up to £400 by the end of the month.
Mr SA has had another fall. This time he's tripped up on the patio doors trying to rescue a frog from the young cat! He's ok though, no injuries.
Exercise today is walking to/from work 17,000 steps plus a FitSteps class at 6pm so that should round it off nicely to 20,000.
Tonight's dinner is a portion of veggie lasagne from the freezer with a nice big load of salad.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2 -
Could Mr SA use coffee bags? They'd be easy for him to use. Maybe use a bit of pop-psychology on him by making a cup and saying how delicious it is, then leaving him to sneakily make himself a cuppa? What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?2

The cat certainly likes her 🐸. Pleased to hear Mr SA is ok.
I found the NSDs didn’t work for me after a while. If I’d spent I’d be tempted to carry on spending. If I had to spend on what should have been a NSD I felt very depleted. I’m better tallying as I go and seem to have more NSDs 👍January spends - £587.582 -

Glad to hear that Mr SA is unhurt after his fall rather than injuring himself. He does seem to bounce well.

I’ve noticed the increased price for the coffee pods I use, also noticed that we used to get 10 pods per packet, now it’s 8 pods per packet and an increase in price. We don’t use them as much as we used to which is a good job now. I do like instant coffee but only a certain brand, but at least it’s still cheaper than the pods.xx

Mr SA has now got the NHS app up and running. No thanks to his efforts at recording himself where only the top half of his head appeared - that was rejected unsurprisingly 😆 The second attempt was accepted.Despite him saying women’s football doesn’t count 😐 he has got into the Euros now he’s realised the England team are doing so well.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2
