Happy Saturday 🥂
Just waiting for the WW live ClubFit session to start then will be off to the big Mr T. We don’t need much so should just about come under budget for groceries this budget period.Beetroot burger and salad for tonight’s dinner, looking forward to that. Might do a handful of sweet potato wedges to go with it.Rose cava in the fridge chilling ready for tonight. I really like the extra dry rose cava from Mr M, prefer it to Prosecco. It only works out at £5.09 after discount so a bargain.Weather looks pretty decent so might get some time in the hanging chair later. Must get some housework done plus something off my July frogs list.
Still no sign of the carpet man, I messaged him yesterday but not heard back yet. I’ll give him another week then try elsewhere. I suppose he could be away, this is what happened with the painter. I want to get the stairs/hall finished now.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3 -
I would follow up with your careers assessment and look into the respite as you might find the conditions are not as onerous as you think and you shouldn't have to pay for it.

Another fan of rose cava here too, @Sun_Addict. I like the C**p own-label one atm.

Thank you SA and Beanielou. Made me tear up.
All that clutter used to be money4 -
Just had a lovely surprise from the bloke I’m a PA for at work, some beautiful flowers and a bottle of Prosecco to say thank you for all I do. Nice to be appreciated at work if nowhere else 😃
In other good news £11.24 left in grocery budget, £6.89 spent in Mr T. I picked up 3 things not on my list so could’ve been less. Still under budget though - result 🥳I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)8 -

He’s a doddle to look after, no trouble at all, he just leaves me to it. I’ve worked for several that have been very hard work indeed.
Pre illness Mr SA would’ve been highly suspicious of me receiving such a gift from a bloke 😆I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2 -
Morning, happy Sunday. It’s dull and drizzly here this morning. I’ve got plenty of indoor jobs to do so won’t be bored 😆
To do list for today:
Meal plan for next week
Finalise Mr M order for Tuesday
Clean bathroom once DD has gone to work
Dog walking x 2
Tidy out cupboard of doom in dining room
Clean spare room
Yoga session
Spanish lessons
It will be NSD 10/12 today. It’s the last day of the fair so might have a wander round with the dog, won’t be going on any rides or spending though 😆
Making a veggie paella for tonight’s dinner. I’ve got quite a bit of veg that needs using up so I’ll throw that in. Making Mr SA a hotpot with cheesy dumplings in the slow cooker, he loves that and it’s something easy to throw together and leave to do it’s own thing all afternoon.
4 weeks tomorrow we’ll be off to Zante 😎I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4 -
4 weeks will fly by.3
