Happy Friday SA. I have so many books knocking around that I haven’t got to yet and yet I’m rereading a complete series I’ve read before. It’s nice to already know they are good and that I enjoy them as first reads of something are a little bit of a gamble, even with the reviews…and of course if I find a wonderful author I feel compelled to go find everything they’ve written before 😬 I have never read I Capture the Castle and I think it’s something of a classic now. I will wait for your review.

Just been catching up on this.  Sorry to hear about your husband but glad it's sorted.  Had an uncle(who for all intent in purpose was my father) who had gotten to that stage, not able on his feet and no way for anybody to lift him when he got stuck in dangerous positions!!!

DS and the GKs arriving soon. DS was going to put the curtain pole back up for us but we have hit a snag - can’t find the brackets. I put them on the dining room table with the finials and they’ve disappeared 😫 Hunted around everywhere and finally found one in Mr SA’s drawer from hell. Where the other two are goodness knows, he can’t remember what he’s done with them.

I hope you find the brackets - what a nuisance!
