9 years ago on Good Friday Mr SA came home from work in a right state having had a seizure, got back in his van and somehow drove himself home. He continued to have seizures throughout the Easter holiday. That was an Easter I will never forget 😩 He is so lucky to have survived that, who would believe it.
    Wow.Β

He is a very lucky Chap!

Hello πŸ‘‹ I’ll save you the brother of catching up as nothing interesting or exciting happened apart from me being hit by a car on the way to work, breaking my leg, just before the pandemic started 😬

Morning all, happy Good Friday 🐣

I’m still full of cold but it feels like the tail end of it.Β

It will be NSD 7/12 today. No plans to go anywhere. As the weather is so nice I’m hoping to get some more gardening done. Laundry basket is full again so aiming to empty that.Β

Other jobs for the long weekend include sorting out holiday clothes and toiletries. Of course Mr SA will β€œneed” lots of new things 😩

The downside of Mr SA coming off the omeprazole is he now has heartburn and indigestion and getting through Rennies like sweets. Him and his digestive system πŸ™„

Smoked haddock fish cake for dinner tonight, going to make the delicious chilli and maple syrup roast root veg again to accompany it.Β

    Happy good Friday.Β
Colds are supposed to work in 3’s, 3 days to have it coming on, 3 days full blown cold and 3 days to shake it off completely. I don’t know where I heard that, but it always seems to fit for me. Which are the indigestion tablets that advertise with someone riding a horse around an office? Vague, I know, but isn’t that one you take once and it protects you all day? Might be cheaper than a constant supply of Rennies.
    Have a lovely day 🌟

I’ve been so much better today, even managed the WW live Club Fit this lunchtime.Β

Took the dog on the park across the road this morning, emptied my laundry basket, did loads of ironing and a bit of gardening. I got all the cushions for the patio furniture out of the shed and swapped the winter duvet for the summer one when I changed the bedding.

Mr SA wrecked DD’s pineapple plant. She brought it down from her bedroom to get some sun, I don’t know what he did but the pineapple is no longer attached to the plant. DD is really upset about it, she’s been growing it for ages apparently. He admitted he may have caught it with his walking stick 😩

On the subject of Mr SA, he’s been driving me nuts moaning about his heartburn all blooming day. He’s now finished the whole box of Rennies so I will look for the one a day tablets tomorrow. I need to make sure they don’t interfere with his many other meds though.Β

Sat in the sun and finished another book. I’ve ripped through this one - My Husband’s Son by Deborah O’Connor. It was a thriller, really good read, kept me guessing until the end.Β

The kitten has been outside most of the day, I kept the kitchen patio doors open and she’s loved it, coming in and out. She was chasing a bee at one stage and I think it stung her paw as she was limping for a while.Β
