The deed is done, one king size duvet washed and now on the line - £7 to use the industrial size machine 😱

Mr SA was very MSE and took coffee from home in his travel cup.

Nipped in Aldi while the machine was doing, it was fairly quiet. Sadly both Aldi and Lidl no longer sell the lightly dusted yellowfin sole 😥 It used to be so handy to have in the freezer for a quick dinner. Maybe they’ll get it back at some stage, I’ll keep looking.

Forgot to say a mysterious plant has appeared everywhere in my garden and I mean everywhere. I suspected it was a weed, anyway it’s called Garlic Mustard and is edible, apparently the leaves are delicious in salads. I’m not going to pull it up as the flowers are pretty and it’s growing in shady areas under trees where nothing except for bluebells grow.

Well done both on the duvet and home coffee 😁
I got my lightly dusted sole from Sainsbury's but Iceland do it too. I'm actually having it for dinner tonight. Mr M_F is having the Harry Ramsdens battered cod from Iceland.

Young’s gastro fish do the lightly dusted of various fish. Probably not as cost effective, but I get them from MrT as a freezer back up sometimes.

@Sun_Addict, I'm wondering if your garlic mustard plants are what I know as 'Jack-in-the-hedge'. Do they have white flowers?

Yes it’s also known as that. I’ve never seen it before in my garden. It certainly likes the shade.

It used to grow profusely along a shady footpath in the village where I grew up. It's quite an attractive plant.

Duvet dry and packed away until winter.

Pottered about in the garden, did a bit of trimming and have almost filled the garden waste bin. Tidied up the greenhouse. Mr SA mowed the lawns.

Had a natural yoghurt to use up in the fridge so made some herb dumplings to go in a spicy butternut squash stew, the remainder went into overnight oats for tomorrow’s breakfast along with some raspberry bits left in a bag of frozen ones. The squash stew is tonight’s dinner and tomorrow’s lunch.

Did a live WW strength training class at 5.30 followed by a nice relaxing soak in the bath.

WFH for the next two days so no need to rush in the morning.
