I’m another who won’t stop when I’m ill, I have a theory that it’s an animal instinct and those of us who need to keep going are frightened we’ll get eaten or left behind if we stop 😬I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3 -
The euros have been ordered for pick up next Friday. They were £70 less than I’d budgeted for so the excess has been put into the August holiday pot. Refund received from the airport lounge so that’s been moved to the airport/aeroplane spends pot.Two more team members leaving this week (retiring) so two lots of contributions there. My team is dwindling fast with 4 gone in the past month.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3

I'm actually starting to feel a bit better, fingers crossed this carries on. I'm finishing work early and going to Lidl. Top of the list is some fiery ginger beer to scratch my throat as it's really itchy.
My internet has been playing up and kept throwing me out of a Teams meeting earlier. I've switched the router off and on which seems to have done the trick.
Mr SA has had another letter about Covid. I wish they wouldn't keep sending them as it gets him confused and he thinks he's secretly got Covid without taking a test! It's only to tell him about the latest treatments available to vulnerable patients.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4 -
It's a pity they can't take into consideration their vulnerabilities & send some to the carer of. I know it is good that they send them but it is just one more stress for you do deal with. Can the doctors do nothing about that for personal stuff at least.

Glad you’re a bit better!
I agree about the stuff sent out to more vulnerable people regarding Covid. When DH first got sent LFTs or whatever the first mailings were, we thought someone had sent in his details as a joke. No explanation till long after. I can well believe it causes confusion and insecurity when all that’s needed is a text from the GP or a covering note.I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)
The sun's been out and I think I’m solar powered (Onebrokelady)

Good news that you are feeling better. Still try to rest a bit to let your body recover.

9 years ago on Good Friday Mr SA came home from work in a right state having had a seizure, got back in his van and somehow drove himself home. He continued to have seizures throughout the Easter holiday. That was an Easter I will never forget 😩 He is so lucky to have survived that, who would believe it.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)1
