Sorry folks - I'm not having a good 'Prolific day' at all.  I couldn't see (with the new system) how to edit my post - the little cog wheel isn't there that I could see - then I found the three dots!  I managed (third attempt) to change my submission to "Returned."  I'm disappointed but, on the scale of things, it shouldn't be so disappointing for me - it just happened.

Frustratingly I have not receiving notifications of any responses and I can't see, in the new system, where to bookmark it.

For 5 minutes, you will be asked to estimate the length of lines.

In this study, we will ask you to complete a brief task. Afterwards, we will ask you some basic questions about yourself and your experiences.

I did the puzzle and submitted with my Prolific ID, but then there was no way to move forward from that point.  I reported it as problematic.

I've just had the same - messaged the researcher but not had  a response yet.
All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.

Okay, just had a reply to say I missed the part of the instructions which told us that the second part of the survey would pop up after 10 minutes or so depending on how long the puzzle took. Therefore the submission was incomplete. I’ve told them I’m still happy to do the second part if they want me to do a link but  I suspect that’s not going to happen. They have thought messaged asking people to return rather than reject, which is something I suppose.

  • Oh, I must have completely missed that as well!

Just had a time out issue with this one as well which was very confusing as I seemed to have plenty of time on the clock and it only took me around 10 mins and the maximum time allowed was 39 mins.

Messaged researcher to let them know what was going on.  All very frustrating to start the day.

That's odd - I completed it early this morning without any problems.
