I've had two go wrong today, don't think it's the studies seems to be problem with the app. One went wrong on my mobile and says Timed Out. The other is the language one, which now says Returned. Have messaged both researchers but can't see them in my messages so I guess the messages didn't work either?0

Mine eventually timed out, and is showing as timed out on my submissions page, which is galling as I completed it and repeatedly attempted to submit the completion code. It did send me to the Prolific completion page at the end, albeit that page was showing an error, so I assume that means the researcher got my data, and I messaged them the completion code, so I hope I will get paid anyway.0

I did that one too, and yes it was a bit odd. Mine is also showing returned but I'm pretty confident I didn't return it. However, if I access it through my submission page it shows as returned, timed out and awaiting review

They're probably fiddling again making some minor change and have broken it instead
I only tried one, it changed status on its own several times. I did complete it but it showed as returned in my history. The researcher replied and had no trouble finding the data and paid me manually - it was the books one. So worth a message if there isn't a wholesale fix soon.

For the "Language Experiment" Study I just got the following message from the researcher:
"Dear participant, This is a message to let you know that we are aware of an issue with redirection and payment at the end of the experiment, and we are working on getting it resolved. Please rest assured that you will be paid for your participation, at the same rate of $12.00/hr. We apologize for the inconvenience"2 -

Just had a similar going round in circles with a flower gifting survey, which was very tedious anyway, hope that comes good as it took ages and was for £2. Now showing as returned. Very annoying.

I completed 2 studies this afternoon, with the same issues mentioned by many, which never appeared on my submission history so I don't have the option to contact the involved researchers. I did take some screenshots at the end that included showing Awaiting Review and now waiting for Prolific to come up with a solution.0
