  • I have ticked 'Report Study' and sent Prolific a message - is that enough as I don't have access to the Researcher's details?

The 'partial' survey is the same as the original, which was an exceedingly dull, tedious and repetitive survey. My life is too short to go through it again.

I've contacted the survey and said I'm not going to do it again, having completed it in full in good faith

    I've received it too.
It's not the full survey; just two chunks - even more tedious to complete the second time around!

I started the Re-Take Study and, on submission, I was paid instantly.

I sent this message to the Researcher:

"  Thank you for approving my submission. I understand that the main problem related to the 'glitches' with Prolific on 30 May. It has been a bit frustrating for all of us and I wish you well in your Research."

For the "Language Experiment" Study I just got the following message from the researcher:

"Dear participant, This is a message to let you know that we are aware of an issue with redirection and payment at the end of the experiment, and we are working on getting it resolved. Please rest assured that you will be paid for your participation, at the same rate of $12.00/hr. We apologize for the inconvenience"
I received this too, and have now received the following:
Dear participant, This is an update on the payment issues that arose on May 30th. As it turns out, there was a site-wide issue with prolific that is the cause of the issues you encountered while attempting to participate in "Language Experiment". Prolific Support stated today that they had renumerated all participants whose submissions were returned or timed-out. If you have not yet been paid for your participation, please respond to this message so that we can inform Prolific Support. Thank you for your patience and assistance.

The study is still showing as "Timed-out" for me, and I have not been paid. I've replied to the message accordingly.

This one has been sitting there for hours. I did it a few days ago, still being offered it this evening but oddly get a ISP error when I try to do it, with Wi-Fi on and Wi-Fi off, so I don’t know what’s wrong. Places are dropping slowly, so some people must be having better luck with it.

I reported it for being underpaying and then clicked the not interested button.

I received this message too and also replied to say I still hadn't been paid. I have two studies where payment is still due but the statuses say 'Returned' and Timed Out.

I see now that Prolific said on Twitter on the 1st June that "Submission issue is now resolved We have now successfully completed the retrospective remuneration for participants affected by Tuesday’s incident. This includes all returned or timed-out submissions." Seems a bit overly optimistic. I was waiting patiently expecting it to be sorted out for me too.

I've messaged Prolific again using the Support link from there although I'd already messaged them via the Report Study.
