Thank you very much Value. I suppose we all go through difficult spells in Prolific. It's really good of you to offer such lovely encouragement.I'll keep looking out for the email.1

Usually a notification, from Prolific, arrived telling me that there is a new message.I would be so discouraged (although this time definitely my fault) if I have to Return this one as well. On the scale of things it is definitely not a big issue but I can hardly believe the number of 'failures' in my recent Prolific Studies. Many thanks for replying, elsien. If I receive any communication from The Researcher or from Prolific I'll post back.1

Thanks very much, MrsWhippy. Although, on the scale of things, it is definitely not a big issue, I'm sure no one likes having to Return a Study. Disappointing but definitely encouraging that a few of us are in the same boat just now.Hopefully things will improve! Best wishes.

Understanding Minds of Other People
Hosted by ucl.ac.ukI am afraid this is another Gorilla Platform Study which allows a place to be reserved then gives this notice: "Experiment not available This experiment is currently full. Please cancel the task on Prolific."I understand that it is the 'system' and that Prolific do not penalize for Returned Studies but it is still disappointing. Prolific seem to do nothing about it.If there was advance warning that the Gorilla Platform was involved, and the number of spaces available are (for me) rarely ever available in reality, I would very much prefer not to try starting. I seem to have (as previously) an increasing number of Studies having to be Returned without any real choice.I'm just feeling a bit frustrated (this is my third 'failed' Gorilla study in the past few days) although I really am very pleased when Prolific Studies are (as they are most of time) really good.

Thanks Sapindus. I was just worried about the number - I have not counted but quite a 'few' recent Returned Studies from me. No rejections apart from one over a year ago - so that is encouraging.

Video Call Experiment on Monday (University of Oxford)
Hosted by Roberto RozziI'm afraid I am not having a good 'run' of it with Prolific just now. I have to accept responsibiity for messing up my appointment for the above Study and will be glad if anyone can help, please. I booked a one minute Zoom slot for this Monday and now I realize that I won't be at home with my laptop, camera and audio etc.Does anyone know how I can access the calendar again to cancel and reschedule the time of my Zoom appointment? I am anxious not to let the Researcher down.I think I need to abandon Prolific Studies for a bit because I'm not doing at all well - scared to count the number of Returned Studies - although not all my fault. I have contacted the Researcher but, so far, have not received a reply.Any help will be very much appreciated.
I must admit I am curious as to what such a short zoom meeting could entail.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. My mobile is a bit too small and I manage better on my laptop with the bigger screen and better sound. Thanks for suggesting it, though, silvercar.I've had no confirmation email or reply from The Researcher yet. Rather than just not turn up for the Zoom appointment (I would not be able to attend or reschedule without the link) I would, as a last resort, have to Return the Study - the prospect of another Returned Study from me makes me sigh!I also wonder what such a short Zoom one minute appointment, with so many participants required, could involve.

In case its of any comfort to you Crimson I have been an active member on Prolific for 10 months. In that time I have done 630 studies but only 520 are approved. No rejections but the hundred or so deficit between approved and total submissions are all returned studies.1
