Makes you wonder if the job of designing the AI training studies has been handed over to AI.

I had a very odd one this morning that wanted AI voices comparing (and they were very specific about it being voices) but half of them were just sound effects with no one speaking. Very odd, I did think about returning, but had seen that about returning them resulting in a slapped wrist, so muddled through.

I had one of those too. Whenever there were no voices I chose equally good/bad but obviously that’s not ideal. I’m half expecting a warning message now.

I've just been removed from this wave. Here are my top tips
More than 5 warnings and you're out for a while. As said above, the fault can be with the researcher, so go carefully. The audio ones seem to be the most contentious
Do not choose both the same unless you are in dire straits
Do not return a study unless you are in dire straits
Don't do too many in a day, as this causes warnings; my limit appeared to be $45 a day
Also, check your blocked researchers; clearing this list or updating it can trigger more studies, as it did for me anyway.
Agree to sensitive subject studies if you feel you can; this greatly increases the number of studies, including the AI ones. I have some very odd ones that not everyone would appreciate, good luck everyone.

I honestly find it difficult to do many of these Ai ones because they are boring and repetitive and my mind starts to wander.
i really struggle knowing what to do when two clips/samples are genuinely equally good/bad or are literally identical. I know it’s not good to choose that option too much but if they are identical and you pick one then you could be failing a quality check.0 -
agreed. I also think the quality checks are identical options and/or repeating clips in the same study.

I seem to be alone in that I'm quite enjoying this latest wave of AI video evaluations 😁and I found the factual infographic ones really dull.
I did about 12 on Saturday but have only had time to do a couple today on my lunch break. If there are still some after work I'll try and do some more.
I've not yet had any warnings, even when I do click on equally good/bad quite often, but I've found there usually are some differences when compared to the prompt instructions. I had a couple that had foreign language prompts occasionally, mixed in the English ones, but I just pasted the prompt into Google Translate in another tab and that told me what to look for - thought that was a better option than just returning it. I find the ones with audio often have static which I assume is an attention check type thing. Repeating the exact same videos in the same study is quite annoying though!

I had a video the other day of a man punching a woman in a kitchen setting.
I don’t see any purpose in generating something like that, it’s not something I want to see even if it’s not real, but there doesn’t seem to be any way of flagging it up anymore.I do allow sensitive content, but that’s not sensitive. That’s just gratuitous violence.

Oh dear! That's awful.

I did message the researcher, but I’m not sure if they ever read them.
In retrospect I should have reported it to prolific, but that didn’t occur to me at the timeAll shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
