How many viewers have you had? How long before you got an offer?

I know a lot depends on location, price and condition but just wondering how many viewers sellers are getting and how long it was before anyone made an offer.
I'm totally bored with the selling process already as I have no patience and hate having to keep cleaning. House went on rightmove just under 2 weeks ago, had 2 viewers at weekend (both had not even put their houses on the market!!).
Happy days 😬

7 Viewers, and about 8 weeks
Like you I am impatient, hate living in a spotlessly tidy house and got very bored having to arrange my life around viewings.
So much, that I never want to move again...but needs must to get the end result...
What is frustrating is peoples silly feedback as to why they don't want your house.0 -
From a buyer's perspective, don't bother making your home immaculate, it makes very little difference.
Obviously don't leave the cat litter tray for viewers to trip on, or the bin overflowing but there really is no need to be OCD about it.
Don't get wound up about the feedback, people are people and you only need one buyer.0 -
First estate agent, 12 week contract:
* Nothing for 4 weeks (May last year)
* Eight booked viewings
* 6 turned up, 1 cancellation, 1 no show
* No offers
Second estate agent, 6 week contract:
* 3 viewings in week 1 (Sept last year)
* 3 offers in week 1, no second viewings
* Person that bought was OS and never viewed in person!
The viewings started when the price was right. Getting a cluster of viewings was useful for us because EA played them off one another to get us closer to asking price. It should pick up again in Feb/Mar as weather improves and people get going with their annual life plans.
I know exactly what you mean about keeping it tidy, drove me insane for months! Worth it, only need one...0 -
Approx 16 viewings ( this was almost three years ago ), offer after three weeks and sold to them.
We had a large house and I was expecting it to take a lot longer to sell.0 -
When I was selling I didn't even entertain letting people view who weren't already on the market.
One slipped through the net (estate agent incompetence!) and they admitted they just wanted to look round - no intention of buying at all!0 -
We put our place on the market Thursday last week, two days and seven viewings later we had two offers over the asking price.
It does really depend on the property in question, luckily ours would appeal to first time buyers or investors but I’m sure next time we won’t be so lucky.0 -
Mine is a large family home, so my market is more limited. I think I will need to be patient.0

We sold our house 5 times, over a period of 3 months but the buyers kept giving back word for various reasons.
The last buyer was a young lad, offered full price and he bought it 3 months after he offered. Marketed in November, sold in May.Stopped smoking Jan 2007 after 23 years!Cigarettes NOT smoked = 240,945Smoke free days = 11 Years :TCash saved so far = £125,45,110 -
Went live on rightmove on Friday, sold for full asking price by Tuesday afternoon :beer:
We had two viewings Saturday, two Monday and one on Tuesday. Three offers in total, the one at full asking which we accepted and two 10k under.0 -
