My back is really sore.. my eyes are sticky and I have to drag the girls to swimming in a couple of hours.. we leave at 12 for 1pm lesson and get back about 2:45 !! That's a lot of walking!

Photo's and ebeasting today, I will try to get some pics done before I get to swimming.. I sit there and list while the girls swim and hopefully Twinkle will sleep like she did last week, the lesson goes so much quicker if I am not chasing her constantly.. and I have to degrot the kitchen again before it devolves into the swamp it was last weekend .. and I have to do laundry.

    ((Hugs)) Ionafan. Lots of them.
    Good news, roundtuit.
    Go you, Pigpen. Fingers crossed.

ATB, you've put me to shame, the amount you've achieved before I was even up. Searching for my guag, but so far I have got the wm running, ironing pile is one shirt, so that can sit there and wait for some friends to join it. Sad flowers have gone out, and happy daffodils have been shuffled around in an attempt to make the dark hall look brighter. The plan for this morning is to tackle the en suite in the hour between DH vacating and DD taking up occupancy. Oh for the day that I get a family bathroom back. Then it is the usual Saturday driving DD around.

Catch you all later, have lovely days.
  • Glad the doctor was sympathetic Rox, it really helps if they are positive and helpful. And Iona hope you get a physio appointment soon.

Slept well so up early. Finance spreadsheets updated, and hour and a half paid stuff done, one load of washing in, office tidied and bits of paper arranged into relevant piles to be dealt with later.

Going to get a shower and get dressed, want to get to the post office before it closes and take a bag or two to the CS. Not sure what the rest of the day brings, some ironing to do, might just do a little baking if I feel like it.

Oh and DS2 may need taking to footie but he hasnt moved yet. In fact everyone else, including the dog, are asleep!

Thank you for good wishes and hugs.

Welcome to the Wannabes, kazwookie

You sound so much happier, roundtuit - long may it continue!

A-ma-zing progress with your ebeasting, pigpen! Wish I could get round to listing a couple of items which have been on my Toots list for over a year, but I need to summon up some enthusiasm...

DH set his radio alarm on very low volume last night "so that it won't wake you up." Well, it did wake me - at 4.00 sharp - but it didn't wake him, so I did, at 4.10, with a cuppa. He then sat on the edge of the bed for half an hour playing silly games on his iPad until I told him it wasn't fair to wake me up at 4.00 if he didn't really need to get up so early, then he spent another half hour in the bathroom, went downstairs and spent another half hour "packing his bag". He finally left the house at 5.50 to catch the 6.10 train. I reckon I could have had at least another hour's uninterrupted sleep if he had planned ahead and shifted himself when the alarm went off :mad::mad:

Seeing as I was awake, while he was doing all that I amended a couple of files and did some printing out (the printer is down in the utility, well away from the neighbours, so doesn't disturb anyone). Once DH had gone out, I put on some trashy TV programme, ate my breakfast in the LR, curled up on the sofa and went back to sleep until 9.10. After a broken night I certainly don't feel properly rested, but at least I'm not a complete zombie.

    Plan for today:
    - finish work for tomorrow
    - eat
    - walk Rosie after lunch, when (if the forecast is correct) the rain will have stopped
    - college reading
    - cook jacket potatoes and fresh veg to go with reheated stew leftovers
    - eat mine when I'm hungry
    - [STRIKE]give DH his[/STRIKE] tell DH to reheat his in the microwave when he gets home
    - fall into bed again

Right.. I need to move before I rage on someones head.. HHC Anyone??

    WM
    DW
    TD

    sandwiches for girls
    sort swimming bag
    photograph box of gubbins
    Sneak on scales... still ouchy

Iona.. I have incentive.. what I lack is motivation and time... it takes ages and it is super boring.. but necessary sadly.

I need to sort 2 bracelets for 18th Birthdays One for last March and one for December. The older girls got Thomas Sabo bracelets with charms so I need the same for these and it is much easier said than done!.. and DD3 wants an 18th birthday party.. a week before christmas.. she is mental I am certain of it!

right.. 10:00 dead on.. so I am gone... *~*~*~* WHOOSH *~*~*~*

Thank you ionafan, Valli, Fayolle and YL xx It's been a tough few weeks but the light started to appear at the end of the tunnel yesterday, so I'm hoping the withdrawal is ending!!! Good reason not to go back to unhealthy eating - I never want to go through that again  And I reckon there should be more poundage lost when I get weighed on Tuesday morning - :T I feel better already - probably because I can breathe properly with my trousers fastened now :o.

Round 1 completed + dry clothes on airer folded; WM x 1 placed on radiators and airer; WM x 2 now swishing; shoe box recycled and bowl of pots now soaking ready for Round 2.

    Round 2 =
    - WUDUPA first bowl of pots :o
    - that's it for Round 2 as I think every item of cutlery we own is in
that bowl along with sundry other items!
    - coffee

    Back soon (ish)

I joined you Pigpen for the HHC. Shower now degrotted, including using my toothbrush to get the extra grot out. Not my actual functioning toothbrush, you understand :rotfl: Shiny bits shined, scrubby bits scrubbed. I think I must have then inadvertently hung a flag out to announce that the bathroom was clean, as no sooner had I come downstairs than DH had sneaked in

Bird feeders filled, dinner defrosting, expected delivery received, coffee made - help yourselves :coffee:. I think another couple of slinky lbs have been decluttered this week. I really need to get those new scales so that I know for sure.

Round 2 completed + unloaded WM on to airer and set WM x 3 swishing; bowl re-loaded with pots but not yet soaking as I'm having a coffee break.

Not sure what time DS will be home - he stayed with friends overnight in pigpen land.

    Round 3 will be:
    - WUDUPA second bowl of pots
    - wash yogurt pots etc for recycling
    - put out recycling.

Round.. well.. if he was out until 5am he probably knows DD2.. haha.. everyone seems to know her! (Gardeners Claudia... she is rather infamous for all the wrong reasons, not only because her hair is never the same colour)

right.. lunch and swimming.. and Twinkle is going in the bin very soon!

I'll ask him when he gets home :D

Send Twinkle over with DS and I'll Twinkle sit while you take the girls swimming - if only it was that easy eh?

    Right - pots...
