Lovely lunch out with friends after a morning at work. Cooking tea for DD is the total sum of my flying today. Actually no - just remembered that I did manage to clean the downstairs loo before I went to work. And obviously the wm ran, as it gets sulky if it doesn't get used at least once a day. I'm taking that as a successful day's flying, by my standards.

Thank you HB - package arrived safely today.
  • Is he stalking me online?

I've just heard him fire up the vacuum cleaner in the studio.

Bet he doesn't make it as far as the landing, though.
I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.

Some bargainous shopping at the company shop tonight - a tray of 36 sausages for £3 and 1kg cooked chicken breast pieces for £1.40. All bagged up and in the freezer. Enough sausage for 6 meals (not everyone likes them) and chicken for 20 quesadillas - DS2's fav Friday meal and his brother's breakfast on workdays, which means enough for around 6 weeks.
I'm ashamed to say that putting the shopping away is as far as I've got and I'm off to bed for an early night in a minute. Catching the train again in the morning and need to be up in time. I will, however, put oats, milk and berries in the fridge. 3 litres of hemp milk for £1.20.

Bags to cs and boxes to r/c

This afternoon did not go as originally planned - to do shopping and library.

We've been vaguely looking for another car for a couple of months. We currently have a small Dacia, perfect for our current needs, cheap to run and great for DH to get to work. However, we feel we need a bigger car for our intended trip to Spain.

Was having a casual look last night online and saw one we liked, just 14 miles away. Long story short - went for a test drive and bought it this afternoon. The dealer is putting new brakes throughout, giving it a service and putting a year's MOT and warranty on it. Should get it by Friday next week :D

If it's gone I've done it or we don't have one

    Monday Marvels - Lounge
    DONE

Tuesday day of scrubby delight - kitchen and dining room

Polish any door furniture with a soft cloth
Beat, vacuum or wipe door mats
    Clean glass in/by doors
Dust any furniture in these areas

Lynne sometimes it just happens that you see a car that is just right for you even though maybe not the intended time - bet you're looking forward to next Friday!

MrsChaos great bargain food shop there!

JoJo how far did he make it with the vacuum cleaner?

Just finished a typing job - couldn't sleep so was up at 6am as I tend to do of late. Plan for today is to get some washing in, go to stables and sort the horses out then out for a coffee with 2 of the girls I get on really well with. Then back to flying and want to walk Whiz Whippet before going to watch S play in his first ever football match for the school team so be a proud moment however he does, bless him :A

Found out horse's owner has been saying she stopped the loan arrangement (nope - I'd remember) and that her horse isn't in great condition after she dumped him on me for 5 months . Funny that because everyone has been telling me just how well he looks but there you go. I'll be so glad to be away from her - toxic at its worst. Saw another possible loan horse last night and he's a sweetie; will take him for a ride and see how we get on.

I'll try to catch you later; have a good day all :)

    Morning all,

Up and at 'em this morning :D kiddies currently watching the annoying pink pig on TV, I've unloaded the DW and WUDUPA what needed doing by hand. Will get dressed after this cuppa and sort their breakfast. DH snoring his head off.

Quite a few errands to run today, and must do a money shuffle at some point. I've got some chicken out to defrost for dinner, I'm working all day tomorrow so better sort some easy to cook food for the three of them so DH doesn't resort to MacDs!

Also have two tops of DDs to list on eBay, my marketeering is woefully slow.

Best crack on have great days all xx

I got a whole night's sleep! Isn't that amazing?!? I don't feel like the walking dead this morning - hurrah :j

I've created an island of "things to sort" in my kitchen. That is my plan today. Sort, tidy, fling or burn.

Luckily my two are over the precocious pig on TV ATB. You have my sympathies. She's as annoying as Jerry the mouse, Roadrunner and Daphne out of Scooby Doo. Personally, I'd take Luna Girl, Tom the cat and Danger Mouse every time.

    Erm....anyways....

    Hugs all round x

So far I've been to the tip, pegged the washing out, walked the dog twice, made lunch and the chap has been to install DD radiator. Going to hoover upstairs then have a brew.

    Will report back later xx
