Here I am - better late than never, right! Will do what I need to do to get this current squalor sorted.

Had a bad week; really bad actually but coming out other side of it now thankfully. Not going to be loaning horse as from 1 Feb for various reasons which I won't go into (and to be frank you probably wouldn't be interested in!) but I've been taken for a fool and I've just woke up and smelt the coffee as it were.

Haven't read the posts; I'm really sorry but will try to keep up as from now :)

    Good morning flyland. :hello:

Thank you for all the hugs. Still feel a little odd (the copious amounts of gin last night may also be a factor) but need to now work on a recovery plan. My counsellor seems nice, so I'm hopeful.

Meanwhile, life goes on. Naff all done yesterday so will be flying with gusto today. Maybe.

Sorry to hear the horse loan is a no-go Mumto2 but sounds like you dodged a bullet x

    Cuppa now, then cracking on.

    Morning all,

Big hugs to Dizzy and to Narc0. It's very easy to say don't panic, but so much harder to not actually do so.
Hugs also Mumof2, as it sounded like you were enjoying the time with the horses, but as you say, this time maybe an opportunity to be avoided.

DD is in a strop as she has to go on the bus, which she hates due to travel sickness. I have to go in the opposite direction, and although DH is working at home, he has refused to take her. I'm keeping out of it. Not looking forward to today at job 2, as I really think it is becoming impossible in the time allocated. Or I'm not up to it, which is a distinct possibility as sometimes I think my brain is pure mush. But on the plus side, I have to finish at lunchtime as I'm out for lunch with friends. A slinky salad, of course :p

I might do a bathroom s&s before I have to go, but DH is under my feet which always creates a flying challenge.
  • Morning all,

Big hugs to Dizzy and Mumof2 xx
Piggers can we have pictures of your lush spotless kitchen please?

Slept very badly again - odd, vivid dreams. I am going to book some Reiki again as that helped last time.

Got loads to do today, will get cracking when I've finished this cuppa.

So many of us seem to be treading water at the minute, keeping all the plates spinning. Ladies, please look after yourselves. Take 5 minutes at least today to do something for YOU.

Will report later have lovely days all xxx

    Morning

Mumof2 sounds like you have smelt the coffee just in time, as long as the horse is ok and well etc, you can sort out what ever when you are ready.

ATB you described me exactely with spinning plates, was just thinking that am juggling with too many balls at the moment.
Not working this morning, have had time browsing on computer so will now go and close bedroom windows, turn washing around and tidy round living room. Then coffee and TACKLE BIG ADMIN JOB, right I've written it down so I can't put it off any longer.

On my way, see you later

Maybe when it is less like a skip!! I have the work surface of doom to sort today... which means I clear everything onto the table and go from there.. it is 19ft x 11 ft and beautiful when it is clear of gubbins... but cleaning it is a major chore as I hate cleaning and I especially hate the kitchen as I gets trashed so quickly...

Caffeine fix needed and I shall feed and dress Twinkle and stick a rocket under myself and get it done.. OH is back at work on a split shift today 10am-11pm so I have school run and lots of unsupervised flinging time.

    Morning all

(((Hugs))) to Narc0, Mumof2, atb and Dizzy.

I know the spinning plate feeling too. Once the event I'm preparing for this Sunday is over, that will be one thing fewer for me to worry about, but I know that all the others that I have left to sort themselves out while I concentrate on Sunday will suddenly start saying "Me!" "Me!" "Me!" and I shall be rushing from one to another again.

Sometimes I wish I had a quieter life, but when that starts to happen, I always find myself getting bored, so I reckon plate spinning is the way my life is always going to be!

I didn't wake up until 8.00 this morning, so am feeling better for a decent night's sleep. Yesterday evening, while watching a programme about the Amsterdam Van Gogh paintings heist - all respect to the woman prosecutor in Naples! - I cut out 72 card hearts (12x A4 sheets of 6) and the first thing I've done today (apart from drinking
a cuppa made for me by DH :A) was to punch holes in them. This evening I shall add the wool hanging loops.

This afternoon I have promised to take my friend to her GP. Hopefully she will take his advice.

I have a welcoming basket of hellebore, fern and ivy on the front step, and I will give the front door and windowsills a wipe over and sweep the path, but my shoulder's too painful today to be polishing any windows.

Other than that, it's gonna be a reading day, and of course Rosie's walk. Oooh, that just reminded me of a book that my children had when they were little :D

Help yourselves to spoons from the jar and sticks off the lawn (they fell off the ash tree in yesterday's gale), and I hope everyone has a good day x
