    Just lost yet another post!!

Paperwork and finances shuffled. A bin load of shredding generated. I also 'found' a pretty box on top of the wardrobe in the RoD, which will do perfectly for the photos that I am decluttering to DSis( she doesn't know this yet ;) )I'm banking on if they are prettily packaged, she might resist less! She gave me the box in the first place with newborn size clothes in when DD was born...and DD will be 15 tomorrow!! Who says that I'm a hoarder?!

DD and DH have hatched a plan to have a take away tonight. Don't they know that pizza is not going to help my slinkiness whatsoever??
  • Swimming lessons survived, despite poor DD having a huge nose bleed just beforehand. Her coat was covered in blood and is now in the wash.

Dinner done, DW loaded, WM and TD on, kiddies will be going to bed shortly once they have finished their supper.

I have also corralled a bag of bits together to take to the food bank tomorrow, and started a charity bag which I will drop off tomorrow. Also have some Next returns to do at some stage.

Right, better chase these babes to bed - have lovely evenings all x

  • atb I have got a couple of dodgy looking marks on my DS loo wall after DSs last nosebleed. DH tried to wash the wall and made it even worse. Every time a visitor uses the DS loo I feel that I need to explain what it is!

So, out at both jobs today with no break in between, both bosses very demanding, feel like my brain is slightly fried. Really should do a bit more work but sitting here staring at the laptop is not achieivng anything.

One load off airer into tumbler, another load in WM. Tea eaten, DW on, kitchen tidied. Will do half an hour and put PJs on I think.
  • Second trip to the Fang Farrier this week went relatively smoothly. Apart from wearing my first cuppa since we got back as my lip is still absolutely numb.

Beginning to feel a little more human - and I'm quite delighted with her sneaky removal of all evidence that my primary fuel source is black coffee; I thought those stains were permanent, as they wouldn't shift with all the brushing in the world. Back again on Thursday for a spruce up of my lower teeth and gums and then, hopefully, I'm done for another 12 weeks. As they've done all this for one emergency fee and a Band 2, rather than previous places quoting 'at least £400' and 'the NHS doesn't offer pain relief', I think I shall just have to budget the fifty odd quid each time, as I wouldn't have lost the tooth in the first place had I been able to get treatment that was affordable. These even apologised profusely for not being able to include the two subsequent appointments in with Sunday's emergency fee.

Came back and cleared up the vileness the cats have left in the downstairs bathroom, as they're protesting against it still being wet and miserable outside. Himself is currently making the kitchen less of a health hazard so I can have something to eat that isn't a tin of soup and, once I've had that and my painkillers have kicked in (took them as soon as I walked in the door in case it hurt once the anaesthetic wears off), I think I'm probably going back to bed.
I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.

  • I've been useless today. but did clear the table off and sort bins out. Had a nice day out with friends though :) Will hopefully make up for it tomorrow.Congratulations Mrs MP
  • Did make a good start..
    Cleaned up kitchen, general swish
Sorted all bins & put out into big bin..
EDS vacuumed downstairs & emptied it!

    Got called into work..
Just got back in & am shattered, spent the last half hour with a client on end of life care, emotionally drained, hope they find their peace soon.
About to declutter a cuppa then hit the sack.. Will do better tomorrow!

Is there anything left in your flat, Lynne? :p
Well, tbh, both DH and I tend to keep things that 'might come in useful' so the cupboards etc were pretty crowded. I also keep well stocked in most things. I think that over the last six months I've probably managed to shovel about half of it out the door one way or t'other :rotfl:

    Dailies done
    Spanish lesson completed
Hoovered bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and hall.
Didn't get out to take 'stuff' today as it was tipping with rain all day - so hoping to take tomorrow and at least it's in the car ready to go.

MAD and H2H. With help of DH emptied top of wardrobes, sorted boxes, put xmas tree in heap to go to DSD's. Replaced boxes with things to keep on wardrobes.
Then emptied top cupboard in hall - mostly spare/old bedding. Pillows (nearly new) to go to DSD and rest put to c/s pile.

If it's gone I've done it or we don't have one

So far so good - all after-school activities gone to plan.

Only WMx1 today, but I managed 3 yesterday, so I might skip tonight or quickly put it on before bedtime.

I now have something on every day after work. Shopping to the company shop on Thursday (hopefully for some bargainous meat) and another tutoring session on Friday. This weekend's must-do will be the tax return!

Did everything off my list today except the zzz, and I'm still awake despite a mid-blowing final lecture in this module - how have I managed that?

DS2 got himself a new job today, to start in June :D

    My plan for tomorrow:

    - throw the windows open wide in bathroom
    - flush loos and fling down some cream cleaner or loo cleaner
    - scrub bath and shower tray
    - wipe down edge of bath, panels and shower screen
    - now the loo has had a soak scrub it out - don't forget under the rim
    - wipe all cistern, handles/buttons, outside of loo, seat and lid
    - flush loo and pour bleach round bowl
    - close lid
    - wipe toilet toll holder
    - wipe sills and shelves
    - wipe soap bottles
    - clean out sink and polish taps
    - bleach down all drains and in all overflows
    - check for cobwebs in corners
    - vacuum and steam mop floor
    - check toothbrushes and replace if necessary
    - S&S kitchen
    - empty and wipe out bathroom cabinets and rearrange contents prettily
[I'm hoping to get all that done in about 20 minutes...]
    - write list of birthday cards etc for February

    - possibly go to library
    - read and make notes for essay
    - take Rosie for a walk, once it's stopped raining
    - update an address list
