Introducing Sarah Rey all 9lb9oz of her! no wonder her poor mum looks tired that's exactly the same weight as her big brother. Lots of cuddles have been had.

Mrs MP.. she is scrumptious... She has the most squishable cheeks <3

3 items listed.. but it is boring and as tired as I am this is not a good idea!

off for food because I am ravenous.. Twinkle might be persuaded to have something too hopefully.

    She is gorgeus, Mrs MP!

    So far, I have
    Tidied gibble from downstairs
Fluffed around with the duster on a stick, vacuumed up all the resulting detritus
Been to the PO to post a small package to HB
Labelled and stashed away the marmalade made at the weekend
Mopped the stickiness from said marmalade making from the kitchen floor
Put spare jam jars back into the loft

I have contemplated bringing down one of the many boxes from the loft to sort, but actually there is no point until I clear [STRIKE]some[/STRIKE] all of the carp from the RoD x 2. I think I need sustenance before I do anything else.

Hi, I don't post often, more of a lurker, but found this thread and need to get some order into my housekeeping routine. I followed the plan yesterday and my lounge looks lovely, hopefully I won't have so much to do next week. Kitchen and diner looks good today, it's a big room, so will leave the windows this week (and the oven). I wonder if anyone can point me in the direction of Toot's list, can't find it anywhere.

12 more things flung at ebeast.. I am shattered...

Twinkle flung herself off the chair.. I swear it was a sneaky plan to force me to give her boof after saying no and trying to get her to eat food!

Off to play with laundry and I might get all excited and wave a broom about.

  • Still feeling dizzy - I've never experienced the world swimming round in my head whilst laying down before. I don't think I like it very much.

Back at the Fang Farrier this evening - I did intend for it to be checking out the other teeth, but it might end up being a '!!!!!! is going on?' appointment instead. The GP offered an appointment for the 16th February with the proviso 'we don't do anything to do with teeth'.

Might be doing something where the Slinky Challenge is concerned, though. I definitely seem to have a [strike]flatter tummy[/strike] less of a sticking out gut/look a bit deflated compared to normal.

But my legs ache. A lot. Considering I've gone no further than the sofa for two days and spent all but three and half hours yesterday sleeping (and having horrible dreams), I'm not entirely certain why.

Wondering why Himself isn't cleaning the s*dding kitchen though. If I could stand up without falling over or throwing up, I'd do it.
I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.

You write your own Toots list - things "to do" in each area - with a long-term view, e.g. sorting through drawers/shelves/boxes and decluttering, touching up paintwork, rearranging furniture.

When we moved to this house 4 years ago my Toots list was ** pages long, now it is just half a page - progress :D - but as I cross things off I keep adding others to it, as the need becomes apparent.

    Lovely pics, mrs-mp :)

Well done to Wannabe Slinkies who have notched up further successes this week, "Keep going" vibes to everyone else.

Since my earlier post I have
    - maintained at SW weigh-in (pleased with that, considering what I scoffed at the weekend when coping with DGD1+2 on my own)
    - had coffee and chat with a friend in town
    - bought dog treats
    - bought new battery for smoke sensor, which DH has fitted, along with new lightbulbs in the bathroom :A
    - spot cleaned LR and stair carpets
    - cooked lunch

Food is ready now so I will go and dish up.

    See you later x

    Still feeling dizzy
    - I didn't notice...:rotfl:

Seriously, I hope you start feeling better soon!

Gawjuss baby Mrs MP. This most definitely adds to my broody mood, triggered by several yummy babies at the doctors for their check ups and jabs this morning when I was there with Tiny (who was an utter hero - no tears at all). Sadly, I have been cut and tied as I'm too old to go through all that malarkey again lol.

Stone mason came to the house to collect templates and discuss other ideas for shelves, door steps and work surfaces that I'd like, so I'm just chillin' on my sofa with a cuppa before actually doing some flying.

    I must not snooze......
