Thursday Thrills - ladeez we are going to make an ENTRANCE
Hallways, stairways, corridors, landings and THE FRONT DOOR
Level 1
,
Sweep (or donkey stone lol) your front doorstep!
Get a bucket of soapy water and wash down the insides of doors (front and back?) then brave the elements, open them, wash down the lintels and door jambs and sills and the door itself.
Polish any door furniture with a soft cloth
Beat, vacuum or wipe door mats
Clean glass in/by doors
Level 2
remove any gibble from entrances
Dust all light fittings
Wipe sticky switches and sockets
Dust any furniture in these areas
Level 3
Sweep/vacuum/mop/polish floors
Vacuum stairs
Extras
S&S kitchen
S&S bathroom -downstairs so far
MAD half hour - work on your challenges OR clean out a 'man' drawer - empty it, wipe it out and out back only what you need.
Check all outside lighting is fully-functional.
WM on with denim load
Wet towels put on the heated airer.
Radiator airers in hallway tidied up – lone socks put in the lone sock basket – it’s getting fuller each time.
Shopping bags near the door put back into the car boot, also big umbrella that belongs in the car boot put back in.
Umbrellas from the stair basket given back to their owners
Mislaid the reminder for the car tax so had to ring up and paid using the keypad- rather long winded but it’s now sorted (it’s a lot easier online) – I know I am now going to come across the blooming letter.
Now going to go through the list for Thursday and will strike them off when completed

I've been painting all morning - half of my back hallway is Rosy Posy pink. DH doesn't know yet  he will hate it :rotfl:
I've done the hallway as my porch is empty, my outside doors have no external or internal architrave yet, plus the glass is still rather delicate in the front door, so can't do that lol.
Friend just called - do I fancy a cuppa. Bears and woods?0 -
Had lunch – made a cheese toastie in the toaster from 2 ends and squeezed it in, luv ends of the bread.
Swished downstairs loo room, washed windows and floor, mats in laundry for washing.

I have a parcel to post which will wait until tomorrow.. hopefully there will be more to post then
speedy QHC in the kitchen I think... that should get the decluttered worktop wiped and restacked.. then I have to collect small people... More debugging tonight.. they were all nuked at the weekend so we shall see what we find!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Drum roll please .... vacuumed through all downstairs, up the stairs and now parked the Dys0n on the landing whilst I have a cuppa. Isn't it amazing what a difference just a vacuum through can make!Flymarkeeteer: £168 and counting0

It's been a gloriously sunny day here today, which has lifted my spirits no end. Dried the washing on the line, cleared some leaves and dead-headed some plants.
School run done, and DD is in the bath (I always do early baths on a Thursday). Once I've made their dinner and mine I shall collapse in a heap I think! Got a heating engineer coming out first thing to fit a new radiator in DD's room, we will put the old one of the street for the local scrappies to collect, last week we put something out and it was gone in half an hour!
DH home late tonight and off tomorrow. I'll be writing him a list of things I desperately need him to do, but I'll be kind and start it with 'eat the bacon sandwich your lovely wife has made you :rotfl:'
Have lovely evenings all xMFW

that was ages!!... they were asking if there was anything else they could have when next door was being emptied!
Twinkle had a half hour snooze on the school run.. hopefully we still get a sensible bed time with that. I need to wash my noggin before morning.. we are going to shop as soon as the grubs are dumped at school..Though it shouldn't take long I know exactly what I want... and maybe a 5 minute run around tesco for baby slop and frozen potato rubbish for the offspring.
I'm cheating and flinging pizza at these tonight I think.. and having something boring myself.. think I have rice still in the freezer I can fling on a plate with some veg and whatever else I can find.
Cuppa and dinner in and table clearing (it is covered in school uniform) and DW needs loading and then everything needs a wipe.
Dot STINKS of garlic.. it is making me feel sick.. I hate the smell.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

Rah! Final appointment today and it was much easier than any of the others.
Whilst examining the rather fetching bruises that have appeared along my jawline, Himself remarked that my face looks a lot thinner and, daft 'aporth that he is, 'more kitten like again'. Not sure if that's the lack of food or lack of chronic swelling, but I'll take it as a compliment.
Felt well enough to go for a little bus trip to get books from charity shops and, thanks to a convenient chain coffee shop opening up, I treated myself to a caramel latte made with coconut milk and Himself to one made with normal Moo Juice - so I've come back slightly buzzy from the caffeine and sugarand he's made sausage & mash whilst the painkillers are still working.
Quite looking forward to my last day off sick tomorrow - he doesn't realise that my plans for the day include the use of a vacuum cleaner, arranging for the collection of the defunct dishwasher and quite possibly dragging him out to a shop that sells mattresses.I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll0
