Everyone is politely asked to read up on this in the newbies faq thread near the top of the forum before starting a new thread
Go there now for full advice on hoe to deal with this
Throughout you are advised never to reveal who was driving
You need to edit your post to remove details of who was driving0

Any parking company claiming in court that a motorist entering an "0" instead of an "O" is a breach of contract which has seriously damaged them could well incur the wrath of a judge. Read this

appeal as the keeper not the driver ...something like this ok?
driver entered wrong car registration, correct payment was made.
pcn should be cancelled as no loss was made to yourselves as a ticket has been bought.
 many thanks0

            No, nothing like that.
Send the appropriate appeal template from post #1 of the NEWBIES FAQ sticky thread unchanged.
What is the name of the parking company?0

use the black text template for EXCEL and appeal as KEEPER
add a note that the driver may have entered VRM details for AB123CDE (edit accordingly) at around TIME and DATE and that ticket was the valid ticket
do not admit who was driving
edit post #1 to remove any hint of who was driving , use THE DRIVER0
