    I don't think that matters. I think it's to do with the timing of closure i.e. if you close it early whilst there are uncleared transactions.

    This is now showing online as Easy Access account (the maturity account) but no interest yet showing.

    On trying to close mine I just got an error message: Unfortunately we cannot process this request, as the selected account has uncleared transactions. You can view these transactions within your statement.
