    Hi,

I have been invited to a party which sells supposedly decent quality cookware, which is from the U.S... It is called chef something or something like that, but as I have never heard of it before I am bit wary that it is just a scam... Has anyone been to one or know what it is called so I can do some research?

    Any feeback would be great!

I am a pampered chef rep and i love it, i love the products and that helps. they are great to their reps and give out get rewards. there is no pressure and you do what you want to do all you have to do is get the kit do 6 shows, and then you get to keep the kit if you want to end it there, or you can really go for it or just amble along and do the minimum 1 show every 2 months.

    It isn't a scam. i promise

Strange in another thread today where your touting for recruits you say " am considering being a rep with them too"
  • Hiya, so I went down to a local church fair and absolutely fell in love with Phoenix Trading cards, also met the sponsor who seemed nice and quoted 'best job i've ever had'. She mentioned that if you pay £200 (Around that price) you can get a table full of product's. Only problem is if I pay all that money and she lives a few roads away, will I actually make much within a year. That's my problem. Because she'll go to all the churches and things and I'll be doing small parties with friends not selling near the amount I spent.

You could always look into different ways of getting yourself known as a trader though like door drops, basket drops etc You also DON'T have to make an initial outlay of £200 ~ you could just work from your samples you get in your business kit to see whether you can make your own business from it in your area.

Events are often hit and miss from experience too so you may do just as well from not doing any at all. Good luck with whatever you choose to do. There are some helpful discussions on the Phoenix Trading page on facebook too before you commit yourself to anything. Best of luck with your decision.

Im a Phoenix Trader and there are another 4 in our small town but I think sometimes it can help, people are aware of the product and so know what they are buying and you have someone to swap stock with. To be honest Events are good for networking and increasing brand awareness but I personally dont find them the best sales method, I find coffee and cards more profitable and everyone has a different circle of friends so I wouldnt be overly bothered about another trader close by.

    Hi

I've just been looking at the Pheonix Trading site, it looks fantastic and as far as i can see there are no other traders in my area.

    How does it work?
If i was to just by the business kit to begin, how do i sell?
It says there are brochures in the kit, is this a full product catalouge, so would it be dropping catalogues off and then picking them up with hopefully some orders a few days later?
Do people pay when they place the order or when it's delivered?
If i wanted to do say a craft fair, would it be me buying the cards etc, then selling them with a mark up at the events?

Sorry for so many questions, hope you can help me

I think its always wise to choose a Company whose products can be retailed in as many ways as possible. People prefer different ways and if theres a choice not only will it make sales easier but also help recruitment as well
