I dont understand this thread - are you not allowed to mention the party plan you recommend to people who may be looking for genuine recommendations to follow up???that seems a little short sighted to me....i came on here to find out if anyone had heard of Scentsy wickless candles so i could see if it was a reputable company - but all i see is people complaining at anyone mentioning a company or opinion....is there anywhere we can actually get this info as i need genuine advise...thanks

theres no problem with mentioning the name of the company (unless you own it ) purely with "pm me/email me for details/sign up etc" in the posts , the whole post gets removed even though there may be useful information

Oh how odd, someone must have been messing with the thread lol!

    :D
As you are joining scentsy too thought you might like to say hiya in the scentsy thread ...it will hopefully end up like the avon one etc and well used but with not many recruits it will take time to take off ;-)

Can anyone shed light on why the Scentsy thread was deleted? As far as I am aware nobody was posting anything against rules,we were talking about how we started, sharing ideas on fundraisers, stalls etc
Its hard to find somewhere to chat and as we are so far spread around the country it helps so much to find other consultants.
Its the third time the forum has deleted the thread for Scentsy now?
Can someone please shed light on this? Are we meant to ask a mod first to have it up or something?

You need to ask the admin team (abuse) why they removed them.

I've replied to the latest thread as well. I can't understand why they keep getting deleted either.

you don't have to pay out for stock, .

We have already been told you have to pay £85 for a starter kit plus carriage which presumably contains some sample stock. I notice you have to also pay £10 a month for your own website afte 3 months if you dont meet your target.

Scentsy is £94 to start up inc postage, obviously you get a range of products etc so you can get going immediately. You get a free web page for 3 months then if you choose you can keep it at £10 a month thereafter, this doesnt depend on any targets as you dont have targets and you dont have to keep it. Hope this clears up some confusion. It seems to be going steady and obviously is brand new to the UK, I havent got any complaints so far and am more than happy with the company, products seem to be very popular and easy to sell and not having a problem with parties or booking fetes etc. Upwards and onwards is the motto, must also add I am extremely pleased with commission package and incentives offered.

The newest direct selling/party plan business in the country is Scentsy. Launched here in April and so far has around 140 Consultants spread throughout the country. Have a look at:
[go away] (had to write the words for the : / . because it's stopping me putting in a link as I just registered on here today)
for a look at the products and how the business works. You are essentially self-employed but you don't have to pay out for stock, you don't put catalogues through doors so having to be out in all weathers like you do with some. The best way to make money from these types of businesses is to get in on the ground floor, so if you're seriously wanting an extra income that pays for more than the odd take away try this.
