If it helps, I lost a fair bit of weight and my 'muffins' around the side definitely disappeared. I felt bleugh for the first few weeks but then I felt great and got a lot of the sugar craving from stuff like dates etc. I am a sugar addict but didn't miss it to be honest once I'd got through the initial bit. Didn't even carve chocolate!!Flymarkeeteer: £168 and counting0

Sorry Dizzy.. lol.. I found if I go to bed when I want to eat trash it helps.. my downfall is late night piggery.. I have about 5 stone to shift.. I HAVE to do at least 3 for the sake of my hips, back and knees.. but.. I can't do anything that requires impact or bending so exercise is pretty much out of the question... starvation here I come lol.. it is the only thing that works for me.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0

Kerching. 2 more sales - both to the same person. Another £150. And, as importantly, a small area of my living room cleared of excess dive kit.
Now the brave the snow and go to the post office.Goals - Weight loss 6/26lb at 22nd Jan 18Mmmm. 26lb at 1/7/18. Oops:o0 -

You got snow? No sign of that at all here thankfully. Well done on the sales by the way!!Flymarkeeteer: £168 and counting0 -
A healthy diet helps depression by giving you the nutrients your body needs but it also removes a lot of the stimulants so while you feel less bloated and sluggish you still have to get through the period of withdrawal... give it about 6-8 weeks and see if you feel any different then.
6-8 WEEKS :eek:I'm not liking the information being posted about sugar withdrawal...6-8 weeks is a lifelime  If I do this, I'm going to be a bear with a sore head for ages! I do seriously need to cut out the crap food, but I'm such a sugar addict.
Mutter, mutter....
I'm not liking the information either Dizzy ... sounds more like a lifelemon to me (sorry I know it was a typo, but Freudian slip perhaps?) xxIf it helps, I lost a fair bit of weight and my 'muffins' around the side definitely disappeared. That's good to know Mumof2Hopefully last week was as bad as it gets and each day will now bring me nearer to sanity. I'm not going for sugar free, healthier eating and weight loss are my goals.
I've fed the birds; put out the rubbish; WUDUPA one bowl of pots and WU a second bowl which is currently airdrying. Only pans left to do - so nearly undone the damage done last week :T
No idea what I'm going to say at this meeting at 12, what do you think to: I'm an addict, and, whilst I go through withdrawal, I can't cope with excessive noise and boredom. Please shut me in a quiet room and give me a lot to do?

I went sugar free for my depression - my GP who specialises in mental health recommended it and it was very good. I went back onto sugar 2 years ago because I wanted chocolate ... how bad am I!
Managed to vacuum almost all of downstairs and got rid of a block in the Dys0n - poking around at it with my fingers etc getting nowhere then had another brainwave, tried it and then when I switched it back on it made that lovely sound when blockage gone and it almost sucked the carpet off the floor! Love it when a plan comes together!! Going to have a cuppa and then go up the stables and get the boys in; last 2 weeks of having to do 2 so that's going to be a huge relief.
Thinking of a few things I can sell too so hopefully going to kickstart flymarketeer stuff (is that the name?) soon to get a bit more £s coming in ... every little helps.
Roundtuit hope your 12.00 meeting goes well hun.

eeeewwww snow... revolting... it is beautiful and sunny here so I am loading the pushchair with nappies, parcels and a Twinkle and we are going to post office then in an effort to do more.. I am going to kill myself walking into town to meet OH from college.. he will give me a lift back so it is just a one way trip.
I have a large box of gubbins for someone to drop at the chazzer too.. That can be delegated to DS2.
Black bins emptied so I can refill them with all manner of rubbish that is littering my house.. see how fast I can fill them lol... need to start with the litter tray! .. tomorrow Twinkle and I will go see my mothers dog-dogs and scrounge newspapers for the litter tray and see if she bothers giving me the money she promised for my birthday.. not holding my breath I never got it last year either.
DD1 has a couple of parcels heading here today so DS2 can watch for those too.
right.. clothes and bags and purse and bank card and stuff.. you'd think I was planning to invade a small country the amount of stuff I take out lol... ooh before I go anywhere I need to adjust the shoulder straps on the harness..LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
I'm going to put my big girl pants on and say to those that are finding it hard to keep up with the thread, PLEASE DON'T feel you have to reply to every post or do everything that is on the list. This is our little bit of peace and understanding from others, so for those that are struggling with the thread then do what I do, and just skim it as and when..and jump in when you can or want to/feel you can.
But the main thing is this is supposed to be a fun thread and people aren't supposed to get stressed over it. And it will quieten down once the New Year's cleaning frenzy is over..
Also if you don't do any of the set flying etc then you will not be booted off the thread, aiming a fluffly mule at LW. So no more talk of leavingWe love everyone on here. Although I do have to insist that your posts include something flying wise, even if that's made the bed and decluttered a cup of tea.. then pop it on here with your chatty post.
