LW.. my whole house hasn't been cleaned in the last year.. I certainly have not done 2 of the bedrooms at least!! I haven't been ejected yet other than when I eject myself and my inner crazy escapes .. I think your seat here is safe!! I spent 20 minutes sorting crap in my room yesterday because I am sick of banging my hip as I try to go to bed.. I am looking for a pair of shoes I know I have just no idea where!!

today I have spent.. £500 .. not all in one go.. 3 goes.. but still... .... that shifted my ebay income fast!

    6 parcels posted..

    DW done
    2x WM
    2x TD

Any idea why my crazy small is putting a piece of paper in my jumper?

  • Good Evening All,

LW - healing vibes coming your way lovely friend. Please don't leave us, I love reading your posts and lets face it, we would all have been kicked off by now I am sure! Chin up pal xx

Piggers - the girls are gorgeous x
Dizzy - I agree your head has to be in the right place. I have gone sugar free but felt like death warmed up for the first 4 days with the common low carb slump. Worth it now but takes a will of iron xx

Busy busy day, but I am chuffed because all the laundry is done, the kitchen is clean and tidy and I managed 20,000 steps :T Weigh in tomorrow, so fingers crossed.

We have been invited to a wedding in Devon at the end of August. Sorted childcare no problem but accommodation costs  even a pitch on a campsite is dear! Sleeping in the car has been a seriously considered option!

Right, must chase these kiddies to bed then to chill. Have lovely evenings all x

  • Hi all

Err LW I am not sure you can be expelled from the Flyladies. And if you did you would have to do something reeaally terrible. I dont follow the lists very closely. Given that I have two part time jobs and get very little help from the menfolk I just do what I can.

Katiekat glad that you have something to look forward to.

And Piggers your family pics always make me smile. Gorgeous.

Sooo ... up at 6.30am, took DS2 to bus stop, went to gym, went to job no. 1, came home, helped to deal with a crisis with DS1s car and a broken clutch, some work on job no. 2, shuffled laundry around, cooked a roast dinner, kitchen all cleared up and now back to job no. 2.

Now all I have to do is magic the money to pay a garage bill which will be several hundred pounds. Sigh. Best get some work done then!

    Evening all.

LW you definitely can't be expelled from here. If you can, then there is a queue in front of you and I'm in it! We all love hearing form you, so don't forget it.

    Piggers, gorgeus photo as usual.

Can all you Slinkies stop throwing your lost weight in my direction please?? I need to lose it too!

Not a lot achieved today, apart from a dash through the dailies. DW is running now, I've put the bins out for the morning, and the kitchen is tidy if not spectacularly clean.

Why is talking to my DH like talking to a brick wall sometimes??

Evening all and welcome back wendywitch :hello:

That was a lovely thing to do Donna and great that you all enjoyed the weekend

No way LW can you get expelled. We'd all miss you and your posts too much anyways. Once every ten days may work much better for you - there's only two humans living there. I know exactly what you mean by 'toilet smell' and agree it's gross.

Gorgeous picture of gorgeous girls Pigpen:D

    Dailies done
    Spanish lesson done
Dusted all through top to bottom
    Bathroom s/s
    Ironing all done
Kitchen WUDUPA. Bunkers, hob and micros wiped over. Oats made

MAD and H2H - put together as helped DH make a start on clearing his 'man-cupboard' and sorting for about hour and half. Most of room now disappeared but good progress made so far :D

    Evening all.

    Today I have
    - S&S'd kitchen
    - tidie LR
    - changed our bedding
    - checked for meeces' activity/corpses in the lofts (none)
    - done WMx4
    - put some cards in an envelope for Honey Bear
    - made 4 phonecalls, none of which elicited an answer
    - had coffee and a useful chat with a friend this morning
    - cooked soup for lunch
    - took Rosie to her training class and then for her usual walk
    - painted my nails rather too quickly - they will be better with another coat tomorrow
    - been out for a meal this evening with a group of fellow-students from this area and stuck to SW plan except for a somewhat indulgent mini-pudding :D

The study is still a tip :(

Lame Wolf, I'm lucky if my house gets cleaned through once in a blue moon!

I realise also that I'm really not coping with doing the whole bungalow over within a week, even though it's a tiny place :(I'm wondering if I'd be better off going with a 10-day "cycle" to get round the whole place, so that it all gets done three times in the course of a month. And if I do that, does it get me expelled from Flylady?

You certainly can't be expelled, we love and need you. In practical terms, you have genuine medical reasons for struggling; I, for example, am just plain idle. Stay stay stay.

I also cleaned out a stale nyger seed feeder that the goldfinches wouldn't touch. A neighbour gave me a bunch of daffodils (rather a favourite of mine) for attracting longtailed tits to the garden - are the the ones you refer to as Fairies, Narco?

Absolutely, they flit about and are beautiful! So what, you put daffodils out in a vase for them?.......I'll do them an arrangement!
Incidentally, although I do have niger seed out, my goldfinches (and they are numerous) prefer sunflower kernels.

Started today sulking on scales again. Determined to have only 30g of porridge oats for breakfast instead of 40g; weighed them to find my usual scoop is 30g anyway, sigh. Went to Core Express and Clubbercise.
    Mr N hoovered bedroom.
    I finished a report.
    Booked cinema tickets for tomorrow.
Practised new dance Mr N and I are struggling with.
    Scheduled in various students.
Continuing to trawl through emails and delete unwanted ones.
    Continuing to declutter office.
Doesn't sound like a lot of flying.
    No rodents caught today.

    PIGPENlovely photos of littlies.

Not done much at all today, feeling really rough, caught dreaded lurgie off DGD3 last week and it manifested itself over the weekend, so only bear bones done. I will start tomorrow/today when I'm sure I will be feeling much better
