I'm so delighted... I found a new fresh unsullied empty un-squiggled notebook!!! It is 'happy memories' ... I have JUST the purpose for it I think!

  • I might have nearly recovered from the most monstrous hangover I've ever had in my life.

Although part of the problem was [strike]crashing out[/strike] falling heavily asleep in a weird position which has inflamed my neck and caused a huge migraine all day.

The majority of the problem, however, was quite clearly copious quantities of assorted alcohols when I my usual level of consumption is 0-4 units a week.

Himself organising seven mates to turn up at a really nice little restaurant before going on to the pub was a nice effort, though. i'm impressed - and the meals were lovely (he'd made the effort to find somewhere that did good veggie food because we have a couple of non meat eaters in our midst - and he knows I will usually pick something veggie anyway).

Think I'm going back to bed now, though. I've been up for a whole five hours. :p
I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.

    Evening all

Thank you Natty and Valli for the listies each week

Sending some gws vibes for Natty and any other poorlies. Hope hang-over soon gone Jojo

Fingers xd for your 'meet and greets' this week LW and hope they lead to some bookings

I'm in for the week, but I might be on own lists most of the week. DH has just asked me to give him a hand to sort his 'man-cave' cupboard next week, which might take a while  It's a full double cupboard, floor to ceiling and packed full of 'stuff'. You could have knocked me down with a feather :rotfl:

Also it's my birthday on Wednesday - hoping to go do something, but depends on the weather as heavy snow forecast atm.

Hugs, spoons and sticks as needed
Hope you all stay warm and dry and have a great Monday

  • I'm hoping to manage to keep up all week, even if it's just level one. Tomorrow's level one will make the room look a lot better (for a few hours at least). The dogs are moulting massively and fur reappears as i sweep it.

I've spent ages on the kitchen today. Work tops cleared and wiped, small appliances wiped, cupboard fronts wiped.Dryer decided to work again so 3rd load now i dryer and 4th in washer.

thanks for lists although I'm more than pathetic at doing much.
Today I actually went for a run, did a load of washing, folded a dry lot of washing, did more of a report, checked an essay and another colleague's report, answered a load of emails, spent ages searching unsuccessfully for some theatre tickets (sold out), set up tax payment, paid cc bill, put some CPD on the record system, filled bird feeders and did practically no housework. Sorry. Severely sulking as not yet slinkie. And if you think that sounds a lot don't be impressed as I spent far too long on mindless games on the tablet.

Oh well hope for better this week.

I’m going to borrow one of the spoons offered to smash OH on the head

‘Well are you not going to say thank you or did you not notice?’

Seriously ? He’s fitted a coat rail to the back of the bedroom door I bought over 2 years ago to put up and he’s finally done it. I didn’t mention it again, he knew where they were. Since when was it customary to thank someone for things they do in the house albeit over 2 years ago ??

    😤 he’s a tit
One day I might be more organised...........
