SLINKIES - I lost 5lb last week
Nobody likes a show-off (she says through a mouthful of Wispa chocolate) My head's not with it for my slinky challenge. I wake up with great intentions each day that wither and die at the first whiff of sugar
Well done Donna x
Anyway...moving on...I have flown well today - both reception rooms cleared, cleaned, hoovered, dustied, tidied and stone floors mopped. I'm pooped now.
Cat has done a bunk (naturally) as he's supposed to be at the vets for his boosters about now. I've rung them to say he's in hiding but with noisy carpentry work going on, it's unlikely I'll see him until the workmen have gone home.0 -

Why did Mr LW think it funny when I said I was fed up of the bathroom smelling like a toilet?
I know there's actually a toilet in there, and I am fed up of it smelling like one!
It has just been steam-cleaned to within an inch of it's life, btw.If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
Beautiful little girls pigpen
I've eaten porage oats and WUDUPA a bowl full of pots. and here ladies I must bid you one and all a deeply felt thank you for I'm [STRIKE]pretty sure[/STRIKE] certain those pots would still be languishing in the dirty corner if I hadn't had the incentive of wanting to come on here and announce WUDUPA.
Sad but true.

Ok :undecided I think I'm only missing one :rotfl: They're all grown up . . . I can't have been gone that long
I am one of the unfortunate that's had this cough/cold flu thing (since Christmas) so I've been working slowly at home. A cross between watching & clearing the tv planner and sorting through paperwork and junk in the front room.
DD1 and her BF have just brought their first house together (moved in just before Christmas) and this evening is the first chance I've had to go round for dinnerCan't believe she's all grown up. Starting to feel old now

They're all absolutely beautiful, Pigpen.I realise also that I'm really not coping with doing the whole bungalow over within a week, even though it's a tiny place
I'm wondering if I'd be better off going with a 10-day "cycle" to get round the whole place, so that it all gets done three times in the course of a month. And if I do that, does it get me expelled from Flylady? The main problem I'm having is that often I'm so desperately fatigued; even "normal" things like having a bath or eating dinner leave me wiped out; and I have even had the situation where I can be awake but can't open my eyes - just the effort of raising my eyelids is too much.
*Healing vibes* for you, LW. I'm full of admiration that you even attempt to do the whole bungalow every week, and amazed that you've managed it thus far. As for being expelled if you only do it three times a month - this house doesn't get that each year, and I rather suspect that's true of more than just me. I can barely keep up with making sure it doesn't have dust bunnies wafting around the place - anything more is an astonishing achievement. So, obviously, if you're expelled you'll be joining me on the Naughty Step.
However, today I have managed to degrot the shower room and turned the double around so that's rather good. On the H2H front, I've also sorted out a tray of paperwork that's been glaring at me malevolently since 2012 in the corner of my RoD, because Kelpie was at the groomers which meant I could work upstairs for a couple of hours without him having an attack of the vapours.
I also cleaned out a stale nyger seed feeder that the goldfinches wouldn't touch. A neighbour gave me a bunch of daffodils (rather a favourite of mine) for attracting longtailed tits to the garden - are the the ones you refer to as Fairies, Narco?Better is good enough.0 -
