    Good evening everyone,
Must be bacon day Farway though mine wasn't posh stuff though it was still tasty.:)
Shame about the pizza PN - I like a crispy base especially with bought ones. The only bought pizza I regularly enjoy is the Tesco spinach & ricotta one though I only buy them on SO as while they are tasty I don't find them worth the £3.60 they are at full price:eek:.
Thoroughly enjoyed my bacon, egg & tomato for lunch and managed to find room to scoff the HM chocolate cake late afternoon. The cake was lush very dark and moist, I wish I could bake like my friend:).
I'm shatterd tonight despite an afternoon snooze and my back is twinging after a night on a sofa bed. I did get some laundry done and replenished my log stacks but apart from that I've mainly read and pottered. Going for the easy option of wings, wedges, corn cob (I've 1/2 of one I cooked LO from Friday) and another veg tbc - possibly roasted sprouts if they aren't fit only for the compost bin.:)
Tomorrow is knuckle down to paperwork ready for the lawyer visiting on Tuesday, after all my sorting out last week it hopefully won't take too long and I can get outside for a bit. We have double figures and sun forecast and I don't want to miss it:). It's cold tonight and to be even colder tomorrow night, but if we get the promised sunshine I won't be complaining:).

    Evening all :)

I'm late on parade tonight as I've just politely kicked my sister out having fed her :D

Usually I don't buy many pizzas other than a plain cheese and tomato one from W*itrose which I add some extra bits to and usually cook in my airfryer I also like it with a crispy base.

I picked up my new glasses this morning which are currently rubbing behind my left ear :( I hate wearing In new glasses, obviously in fixing the blurred vision (darn varifocals) he messed up the fit

Lunch was very similar to Wednesday's quorn fillet with salad in a wrap although I didn't have half a cucumber in it. :D

This afternoon I cooked, chicken noodle soup for lunches and as I had invited my sister to dinner I used up some shoulder lamb shanks from the freezer picked up reduced of course :rotfl: I slow cooked them with carrot, celery and onion and tin tomatoes served with roast potatoes and parsnips and runner beans . Fresh fruit with Greek yogurt and meringue for dessert. Whilst the oven was on I tried a new recipe tray baked 'Mediterranean' chicken thighs with orzo pasta a portion of which left with my sister for her dinner tomorrow  but seeing as I halved the chicken but forgot to half the pasta it seems she was doing me a favour :rotfl: as it saved me from being stuck with too much especially as I have a LO lamb shank

My sister brought a piece of healthy flapjack from the farmers market, I took a bite and smiled politely she split hers out  it was horrible, healthy definitely doesn't mean nice _pale_. It went in the bin :(

Dull day outside, at least I managed to pot up some of my toms yesterday, and I was so full of cake with DD I only had a couple of choc digestives later. Hardly a healthy day food wise, but tastier than Bramblings healthy flapjack by sound of it

Porridge breakfast, and now I've yesterday's food for today:(

Lunch, sarnie using my YS posh bacon is tempting

Dinner, the mushroom omelette is likely, not checked mushrooms today, they maybe slimerooms by now:o

DD has left me a box of posh chocs, https://www.hotelchocolat.com/uk
I may nibble on some of them:j

    Good morning everyone,

It's bright and breezy here this morning unlike myself who got off to a slugish start though a shower, a banana and a cup of tea have perked me up.
I've a fair bit to do today in the "Dad's stuff" department before meeting with the lawyer tomorrow and I want to sweep through and give the bathroom a clean as well. If I have enough time I'll plant up some bean seeds. No sign of my toms yet but hopefully they'll start to appear this week.
I opened the bag of sprouts that had been lurking since mid March and they were fine. I had some roasted last night and will have more tonight with roast lamb/gravy & mash from the freezer and some green beans. Lunch will be a sarnie of some description and I might quickly bung a pot of leek & tattie soup together.

Yes, I've got it from Lidl before/usually - and I like theirs, probably even prefer it. 27p/pack from memory.

    Good evening everyone,
My you are getting spoiled Farway, posh chocolates and chocolate cake. Make the most of it:).
Despite not getting any seed sowing done I've feel as though I've had a really productive day:D. Bathroom is sparkling, floors are swept, numerous long calls made, paperwork ready for tomorrow (or as ready as I can get it!) and I made a smashing pot of leek & tattie soup a mug of which I had with a cheese & pickle sarnie for lunch. Lamb & mash for dinner just needs heating up and I'll nuke some sprouts and green beans to go with it. There looks as though there is enough soup to cover a few days lunches plus some for the freezer. I have quite a busy week ahead so happy with easy options especially for lunch.:)
It was much warmer today than it's been but the sun was very hazy and there was a stiff/cold breeze so it was still chilly out. Nowthe sun is almost set it's getting really cold and I've not long lit the stove so the house is cosy while I relax for a bit before bed.
