I had a sandwich for brunch and I'm going to make a smoothie when I get hungry.
Not sure about dinner yet.
It's lovely weather here!:A0 -
Garden pottering completed in the sunshine, some beetroot sown, they were 25p a packet in Wilko, so even if I only get one beet I'm in profit
Lunch was followed by bag of C & O crisps
I've confirmed there are HBs in the freezer, and a even bit MSE as I can put them on same tray in the same oven as the F/fingers & wrinkly toms:money:
I'll eat them from a plate though:)Eight out of ten owners who expressed a preference said their cats preferred other peoples gardens0 -
Another one with lovely weather today I walked lunch time without a jacket, although I did have a rosy glow to my cheeks when I got back to work
Unfortunately the better weather seems to have started the hay fever season early, three of us were complaining today and then had to explain that it wasn't a fever and she couldn't catch it to our Indian colleague. Luckily mine is quite mild I'll just have to be careful with my asthma.
Lunch was some vegetable soup from the freezer and dinner was a kind of duck hash, I fried off some LO new potatoes in a little duck fat and added some veg and LO duck and sprinkled chilli sauce over it. Very tasty for a thrown together meal of LOs followed by the last of the stewed rhubarb and strawberries

Good evening everyone,
Groceries have been delivered and I realised I had forgotten to get beer for the boys:o, remembered the wine though:rotfl:. My younger son is picking up some tonight to bring up the road so they wont go without. The plan is after the "tea" that immediate family will come back here to to chill out a bit, have some food and a couple of drinks. My fridge is full of pizza, cheese, anti pasti and salady bits so no prep needed:).
Having got some better boxes we got on quite well this afternoon, my Dad had so many books and art supplies we could open a shop..... Still he loved this hobby and the local Art club and charity book shop will benefit.
I bit the bullet and made a big pan of mash earlier as I had loads of spuds needing used and really fancied proper mash. There will be lots of portions for the freezer. Lunch was a smoked cheddar & pickle sarnie with cucumber sticks and tonight it's bangers, mash, mushrooms, sprouts, peas while I catch up on some TV.0 -

Ham hock is in the SC with a bayleaf, a couple of garlic cloves, celery leaves and peppercorns. The house should smell good tomorrow morning.:)0 -
I had a soya chocolate dessert pot for breakfast. Meh, I'm losing weight with Weightwatchers and you are allowed a little treat here and there.;) I just fancied it.Another one with lovely weather today I walked lunch time without a jacket, although I did have a rosy glow to my cheeks when I got back to work
I went out just wearing a dress and a t-shirt yesterday. It did get chilly towards the evening here, though!:D2025 GOALS

Morning all!
I'm off work today. Did get a call around 8:20, asking if I wanted a days special needs teaching assistant work in a town a good 15 miles away. Turned it down, as barely worth it financially, I wouldn't have got there in time for the start of the day, and with SEN work, you never know if you're going to have a lovely day, or a day from utter hell. It tends to go either way, in special needs work!
I had a yoghurt, followed by coffee and biscuits a bit later. Not sure what I'll do for main meal later... But the last full working week of the month is usually my "things on toast" week, which I do to keep costs down.So it'll be cheese on toast, or egg. Or both!
Because it's fun to have money!
