Good morning everyone,
Ha Ha PN "luxury" isn't the word that springs to mind when you see my bathroom:rotfl::rotfl:
Hope you feel better today SG <<hug>>
Dry but bitterly cold here this morning and quite icy underfoot. I will wait a bit before doing the bin trip!
Cheesy beans again for lunch and I've a chicken thigh defrosting for tonight which I roast with various veg.
I want to have a good sweep through but I think that will be the extent of my domestics today apart from emptying/loading the dishwasher etc.0 -

... creating leftovers for DAYS to come
That sounds pretty genius actually:D:D I suspect that I eat slightly more than you portion wise but I'd get 3 meals from say a chicken sweet and sour, portion of mushrooms and rice. Hmmm I was going to celebrate with an alcoholic beverage of some sort but Chinese is now appealing more. Thank you :T:)0 -
Good morning.
Cold again here but I'm still full of lurgy so won't be doing much. I have to go and collect a parcel that couldn't be delivered on Thursday and grab some milk but nothing more taxing than disappearing down the dark hole of YouTube after that.
The parcel is 5 balls of wool to knit socks with. My parents and daughter are all on the list to get a pair and I'll make myself some too. They feel very luxurious on the feet and are pure wool yet only cost £3 a pair. More than socks in the shops but I get to spend enjoyable time making them too
Lunch today will be another tin of soup and tea something with eggs just not decided what yet. Maybe a frittata with potatoes, onions and olives as I have all if that in the house.
Any recommendations for movies to watch today? I was thinking The Godfather or The Sound of Music which are a little different to each other I know but they're long :rotfl::rotfl:0 -
Taking a leaf out of PN' s book I have decided that emergency chocolate is required as well as milk so will pick some up too. I'm sure I'll feel better when I've had some0

I've only had water so far today. I had potato wedges in olive oil with barbeque sauce for dinner last night as I watching The Prodigy in concert on YouTube.
I'm going to have a bath and then go to the shops as I need to book my reflexology and I need to register there or something.
I might look in Holland & Barrett to get something for brunch or look in Boots for what they have that is vegan.:A0 -
'morning all, sorry lurgy is lingering SG, mine's still around but easing off now, nose is breathable & chesty wheezing nearly stopped, may have been eased by chocolate, fixes most things I find;)
I'll swap you a manky pan for a pair of woolly socks:D
Dull & wet, but I was sticking indoors anyway, plenty of stock in & nothing really needed
Made fresh batch of yoghurt after porridge breakfast
Lunch, maybe nuked scrambled eggs on toast
Dinner, no idea, Caron's cheesy beans on toast sounds nice. I've plenty of choices in stock but just not very hungry, post lurgy I suspect
I may be joining SG on Netflix / Youtube this afternoon, if I CBA I should get on with my family history stuff, had DNA test via Ancestry, which has now provided more questions than answers and I need to research into DNA and how it all works, too much for a lurgified brain at the momentEight out of ten owners who expressed a preference said their cats preferred other peoples gardens0 -

You can keep your manky pan ta very much but I’d happily make you a pair of socks.
I’ve gone with The Godfather, am quite in the mood for a bit of ‘he's a gone to swim wid the fishes’ today :rotfl:
Emergency chocolate has been purchased and am sure some will be eaten later..... maybe instead of lunch0 -
I'm starving - and cold. Window's open "to air the room", which I do every day for as long as I can bear it ..... as for food, I've got out parsnips, onions, apples.... and the SC ... to make a spicy soup ... not got to the bit where I CBA to actually go in and peel/chop those things and put them in the pot, it's a "work in progress".
I do that, if I know what I think I'll cook: each time I pop into the kitchen I gather something else to get out/put with the rest, so that when I CBA to get round to it everything's pretty nearly lined up and ready
I'll have one of those cheese/egg rolls I think ... good job I made those earlier, else I'd be having to make a cooked breakfast and... I CBA.0 -
I was going to buy a veggie pepper steak pie from H&B but I couldn't remember if I had tasted it before.
I was really hungry when I got home so I had 2 Linda McCartney sausages with toast and half a tin of baked beans.
Crisps too.:D2025 GOALS

Lunch became toast with tinned mackerel fillets on, must have bought them on offer, not something in my normal repertoire, I usually have pleb sardines in tom. Very nice though, Ill buy again if near pleb sardine price
Mind boggling even more now, DNA viewing after lunch on YouTube, a whole new language to understand:think:
Dinner, still no idea, I've taken LO half loaf out of fridge, plus cheese and eggs, could be cheese on toast, with fried eggs on top.
I'm not really hungry TBH, eating only because I think I should, and if I don't then the frozen XCFO profiteroles may get defrosted:oEight out of ten owners who expressed a preference said their cats preferred other peoples gardens0
