Good news that Zeus can come home Candy, that must be a load off your mind
Hopefully you can keep the lurgy away long enough to finish your exams Sunny. I've managed to keep it away so far, the sore throat has gone but the chest is still a little wheezy and there are germs floating around the office so I've fingers crossed.
Wort I saw M&Ss announcement today re store closures, hoping your job is ok
Farway assuming day time tv hasn't sunk to the level of Jeremy Kyle ? :rotfl:
We're really busy at work at the moment  at least it makes the week go by quickly  it will be that way for awhile we are currently spending the afternoons testing a system upgrade and the following morning writing up all the defects we find  it's going to be an interesting call with the IT developers on Thursday. Can't complain to much as it pays the bills although we are also juggling our usual work
Lunch was CFO LOs cauliflower cheese (it does taste better the next day) and falafels. I was too cba to cook dinner and pinged the LO lasagna and veg planned for tomorrow's lunch then chased it round the plate before binning half of it  now I'm feeling peckish and trying to avoid eating anything naughty or involving more cheese, maybe some fruit but that's not as appealing as chocolate or cake

I had a portion of chilli I'd made, on its own.
I then boxed up the rest and popped it in the fridge.
For tea I spooned out two big chunks of that into a wide-lipped mug I've got and nuked it, then added some grated cheese and nuked that until melted. Ate with a fork directly from that mug. The chilli was nice, but I only put two chillies and two teaspoons of chilli in.... it could've done with more really. Maybe those chillies weren't particularly hot ones.... oh well. It tasted nice anyway
I don't use kidney beans in mine as more than 3-4 of those and I'm sick of them, so the tin of mixed beans made more sense. There was beans overload because I just tossed a whole can of baked beans in too, rather than decanting half... I also don't use tinned tomatoes as that makes the sauce too watery (which might be because of the smaller quantities a CFO cooks). It made three portions, but the two I've had so far were "small" so there's still two regular sized portions left.0 -
Zeus is back home, n absolutely hates his cone of shame. He's eaten, but is very disoriented on the painkillers"You can't stop the waves, but you can learn to surf"

Brambling, unfortunately our store is relocating, we had heard rumours but management are saying nothing, the staff going to the new store will be around half ,so the worry continues until we get seen ,it's very upsetting,I've been there 18 years and that doesn't count for much these days.
I'm in at 8 this morning another round of sale to price, I've got cheese salad roll and a potion of yogurt and seeds for lunch.
Tea will be a gf puff pastry tart with cheese and bacon.
Not heard any scurrying for a couple of days so I'm keeping my fingers crossed , that mousey has moved on!!:rotfl:Focus on contribution instead of the impressiveness of consumption to see the true beauty in people.0 -

I went out stockpiling food .... not.
I was keen to get into 4ldi early, perchance picking up the 4-packs of beans - and I was lucky! There was pallet there but it was really low on stock... so I got two 4-packs.
While in there, I grabbed their frozen chips and their sausage rolls - I'd usually buy those both at L1dl, but as the price was the same for the chips I thought I'd give the 4ldi ones a go. The L1dl chips (straight cut/1.5Kg) cook up a treat, so I'm hoping these will be the same, or even better, as it's annoying when you do prefer A, B or C from one or the other and end up feeling a need to go to them both.
Lunch today is: 2 hot sausage rolls.0 -

Healthy day today. Spinach and banana smoothie for breakfast and then leftover veggie soup and wholemeal rolls for lunch.Zeus is back home, n absolutely hates his cone of shame. He's eaten, but is very disoriented on the painkillers
Aw, glad he is home, though.xxLunch: Giardiniera pizza; artichoke, closed cup mushroom, red onion and black olives (ate in a restaurant).
