Good evening everyone
Hope the exams went ok SG
Fingers crossed Zeus's bleeding has been controlled CG <<hug>>
Spent ages crunching numbers as my fuel deal ends soon, I'd already done a fair bit of research and after all that I'm staying with my current supplier as it's worked out to be the best option for me. I suppose it was time well spent rather than just mindlessly pressing renew. It's a 2 year deal so hopefully prices don't come down lots though I doubt that will happen!
Easy freezer dinner of "here's one I made earlier" tonight, just as well as I cba cooking from scratch.0 -

He's in the best possible place, I'm sure they will take great care of him and he'll be bouncing about and back to his usual self in no time x0

Candy I would tell you to try not to worry but I know that's pointless, hopefully he's doing better now
Farway hope you get a better night sleep tonightlooks like you could be stuck indoors until you get on top of the man flu
Just lost an hour tonight catching up with one of sisterswe both lost track until I heard my bil comment on the time and what did we have to talk about for so long :rotfl: I had to laugh she's trying vegan January which my bil won't touch she asked me did I know how difficult it was to find recipes for one or two:rotfl: I just said welcome to my world, I have a freezer full of LOs
Lunch today was split peas and ham soup from the freezer, dinner was spinach, ricotta and mushroom lasagna with green veg.Life shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage - Anais Nin0 -

vet just rang.the bleedings slowed down, n they're keeping him sedated with pressure bandages on.If he pulls through, it's going to be so hard keeping his wounds safe 😣"You can't stop the waves, but you can learn to surf"

Good morning everyone,
Hope Zeus is recovering CG <<hug>>
I had an early appointment at the Drs and of course I slept in so it was bit of a rush to get there on time! I was starving when I got back so having a very CFO breakfast of dhal & spinach LO from last night:).
I took the chance while out and popped by the bakers for a "proper" morning roll which I'll have for lunch with some of the soup I made yesterday. Pasta tonight with a sauce made from odds and ends of lurking veg.0 -

I hope he will be okay, at least the bleeding isn't as bad?
My dog had to be on a drip last year for a whole month and he pulled through. It was so worrying.xx2025 GOALS

CG I hope the bleeding stopped overnight and all is well this morning
Last night's "dinner" finished up as apple & orange sliced & diced with ice cream blob. Seemed like an easy but sort of healthy option
The choc spread sarnie later was not in the healthy category:o
I had a night cap of fake Lemsip and a fairly easy night, feeling a bit better but my cough has now turned yucky & eyes scratchy, nose bunged still
I'm indoors of course, usually I volunteer on Tuesday mornings but canceled that, don't want to spread it around among the "clients"
Porridge for breakfast
Lunch, decided on fried egg sarnie,
Dinner, may try salmon fillet option again if CBA
Tomorrow is a busy day, blood test, bog standard one, then doc's later, and in the afternoon I've plumber coming to replace the knobs with levers on my kitchen taps. I'm struggling to grip the knobs to turn off these days, somethings never thought would happen:(
I'll have to clean out the under sink cupboard first, ratty was in there and the trap + poison need removing, hate to have plumber hopping around the kitchen with a rat trap on his finger:)Eight out of ten owners who expressed a preference said their cats preferred other peoples gardens0
