It feels lovely here, sunny and warm with a slight chill. I'm eating out for lunch so I just had a slice of bread with Flora. I felt hungry when I woke up as I had 10 and a half hours sleep last night! I must have needed it.

I'm going to have a bowl of lentil soup and a cheeze toastie for lunch. I'm not sure about dinner yet.

Not as sunny here but still mild most of the day. Very domestic day, sinks shined, floors hoovered and mopped where appropriate, skirting boards dusted, all cleaning cloths washed, pile of ironing done plus helped family with domestics and homework!

LO pizza and HM coleslaw for lunch. Honey and mustard pork steak, sweet potato and carrot traybake with broccoli tonight.

it was hot enough here to dry my bedding on the line and put it back on the bed, probably the last time of the year.

Otherwise not a lot done today, I wrote lists of things I need to do for EF and selling her flat. I also brought a large bag of her paperwork home for a lazy sit in from of the TV sort out and threw away three quarters of it.

Egg and mayo sandwich for lunch I mixed the mayo with fat free Greek yogurt to make a lighter version. A freezer rummage found a ys Waitrose Mac n cheese which I nuked from frozen for dinner, not so good a a M&S or HM one but tasty.

    Dull, grey but still mild.

Lunch, last cheese & onion pasty

Dinner, YS chicken & mushroom pie out defrosting, probably have some frozen veggies with it. My fresh carrots are a tad rubbery 😁

I went out early this morning as I woke up at 4! I went to a cafe and had a Matcha, then went to some charity shops and bought some bakery bread. I was hungry by the time I got home so I had a sandwich. I’ve nearly done 13,000 steps today.

Well done on the step count Wednesday, now that the bowling season has finished I need to remind myself to get out for a daily walk. I noticed there are a couple of charity challenges for Oct, so I'm going to aim for 100mls but will be well happy if I get to 60mls - important to always take my phone with me to keep the count accurate 😊

Lunch is another portion of the ham broth and as this is national curry week I’m going to make a chana dal for dinner tonight with pappadums, mini naan and spiced onions, I'll do a curry later in the week.

I've been swimming this afternoon so feel virtuous 😉

Work day flew by and I also got a load of washing dried on the line (still makes me ridiculously happy).

Scrambled eggs and avocado on toast for lunch. Prawn and veg thai red curry with noodles tonight.

popped out to do a couple of jobs and came home via the garden centre which had a art exhibit this week, the couple of things a painting and a small sculpture I could have been tempted with were both marked as sold.

Meant to say Farway thank you for the Waitrose Christmas delivery heads up I managed to book one for the 21st

Last of the fruit loaf from the freezer toasted for lunch.

Rump steak, chips, fried onions, mushrooms and broccoli for dinner.

I'm going to try a new apple pie flavoured yoghurt for breakfast. I'm eating out for lunch and I'm not sure about dinner yet.

Sun is trying to break through, mild and dry anyway

Rain maybe tonight, still not found anyone for roof repairs despite asking for quotes. Must be plenty of work there, and not likely to be replaced buy AI either

Lunch, something in a sandwich, could be salad

Dinner, freezer rummage later, if sun arrives, possibly salmon fillet, new spuds & salad, although Brambling rump steak etc remands me I have a steak in the fridge
