Sunny day ahead, at least it'll be dry for Brambling in Chichester

I'm Patient Transport mid afternoon, so the planed chicken casserole thing has been postponed . I could use slow cooker but I'm loath to leave it unattended in an empty house

    Lunch, BLT sandwich

Dinner, frozen pizza + side salad

I am having a toasted crumpet for breakfast. I'm going out for lunch quite early on.

    Good morning everyone,

Grey, cool and showery here today.

Poor chap had a bit of a battle with my stove baffle yesterday but eventually got it all back together. It did mean he ran out of time to replace the door ropes so but it's not an urgent job so he'll message me when he's in the area.

I plan to change my bed today if I can get the voluntary admin out of the way and think it's time to swap the 4.5 tog duvet for the 10 tog one. I've been using the lighter one topped with a blanket but I've felt, while not chilly, not as cosy as I like to be.

Lunch is tbc, I might defrost some more soup or do something with eggs and/or salad bits. Trying this for dinner tonight Indian Loaded Sweet Potatoes Recipe - Sweet Potato Recipes - Tesco Recipes - Tesco Groceries . It's been on the "to make" list for ages but for various reasons kept getting bumped from the meal plan. I'll make a chopped salad to have with it.

I carried my jacket around Chichester as it was so nice and warm. I saw A Midsummer's Night Dream which was very good set in 1994.

I was going to try a small new Japanese place for lunch but wasn't feeling very hungry so went for a sandwich which was tasty buy contained pesto which I tasted all afternoon!

    I haven't fancied any dinner

Chilly start but now sun's out & warming up

Had a restless night for some reason, so not feeling very inspired about meals today, probably just picking at bits. If I had a packet of biscuits I'd be eating those

    Lunch, maybe eggs on toast

Dinner, Will roast the remaining chicken thighs [four] and some with a bit of salad or just nibble

    Good morning everyone,

Cool and grey here but dry. I'm off out with friends late afternoon for a catch up and a final run through of what we are bringing food wise for our jolly next weekend.

I got my bed all changed over and was lovely and cosy last night especially as I had treated myself to a new mattress topper. Now need to tackle the resulting mountain of laundry.

The loaded sweet potato recipe was lovely but tbh the rice wasn't really needed, I made the full amount of the topping so loads of LOs. I'll have some for lunch. I used the M&S jarred chickpeas and they really shone through. Dinner is tbc depending on what I have when I'm out.

It is quite warm here. I had my reflexology appointment this morning and then proceeded to slip over when I got out walking home as I think it was the lotion on my feet. I just sat there as I feel so tired! A man helped me up and he was talking to me like I was a child. Oh dear. I think I'm going back to bed as I have to go out tonight and then go to London tomorrow. I need a rest next week. I had a banana and two crumpets with Flora.

I'm alright. I just hurt my knee again. I put a plaster on it.

I had a nap and had some PB on crackers and an orange. I feel much better. I think I'm going to have a ready made lasagne for dinner along with some steamed veg.

I'm glad you're only bruised Wednesday.

Friday volunteering day luckily it wasn't very busy as I'm coughing still, I was able to finish at 4pm. Parked in Sainsbury's as usual this morning and not sure who was more shocked me or the fox who came out from under the next car and walked in front of me!

Salmon pasta salad for lunch, I mixed light mayo with fat free Greek yoghurt to make a light dressing for the Salmon.

I still don't have a great appetite so dinner was a small jacket potato with cheese and HM coleslaw
