If I’d known JKS I would have waited for you. Crab is my favourite seafood and as you say can be quite pricey, I don't buy it very often and was £5.00 for 4 large meaty claws and spent quite some time making sure that I scrapped out every morsel - I did nibble quite a few chunks whilst working on them but ended up with a good 5ozs of meat.

Another fine day here, sunny intervals and a nice breeze keeping the temp a comfortable 20c. I’m feeling peckish already so I’m about to rustle up a bacon and fried egg roll for brunch.

Dinner is chicken thighs cooked with preserved lemons and thyme. I have some of aldi’s spice infused couscous in the cupboard I’ll make up half the packet and add in some extra veg.

    Good afternoon everyone,

Some delicious sounding meals being had. 😋

Dry here so far though showers are forecasted for late afternoon. Still feeling quite hot and sticky despite a strong, gusty breeze. Hope to spend some time in the garden this afternoon after rattling about this morning making the most of a couple of hours of free electricity. There's some LOs from last night which I'll pad out with either sweet potato pakoras or falafel for lunch. Thai green chicken and veg soup for dinner,
